I will highly recommend this hotel, friendly night shift staff always ready to assist you. I stayed there for a week. At first the service was poor until we brought it to their attention and there after it was home away from home.

I was not fortunate to stay at the hotel, but I booked the stay for my boss from Germany. After meeting Thando and Ray, the booking was inevitable. The reception I received was warm and inviting. They offered to let me see the rooms and facilities, which were all beautifully appointed and decorated and all the rooms were immaculate and modern. I would recommend The Nichol without hesitation. Thank you, especially to Ray and Thando for making the booking simple, professional and unquestionable.

I have stayed here a few times. Great location and rooms are neat.However, tried to book again and the site is not loading payments.Emailed them and asked to book and all they said was use air bnb. No attempt to sort out out.Terrible

The Hotel is a very beautiful hotel with great staff members,second to none.The big issue I had is the way the manager addresses the hotel clients. It seems to me as if he has his own liking of certain people and can be very harsh to a certain minority.If need be I have evidence to show whoever is concerned

What a WOW !!!!!!My partner and I enjoyed each second being there , we were upgraded from one bedroom to a whole penthouse!! We were stunned by the clean house and excellent service given. Amazing staff and oh my the food is delish...Great value for money . Even thou the weather wasn’t good on our stay but the views and environment of Nicol way was amazing !!!!!Thank you for the amazing stayWill be there soon

I stayed at the Nicol Hotel while visiting in Jhb and had an awesome time even during loadshedding. Rooms were comfortable, breakfast was great and the staff very friendly and helpful, I will definitely stay here when I visit Joburg again.

The Nicol Hotel and Conference Centre
I like staying at The Nicol when on business. It's easy to get on and off the Eastern Bypass, so the location is excellent for my needs. Nice and central. The rooms are clean with free Wi-Fi. The rates include breakfast and are reasonable. There are some good restaurants close by which are walking distance although I don't recommend walking rather drive if you are alone for obvious reasons.

We stayed in a one-bedroom apartment. I was shocked not to find a drying cloth and dish washing liquid. The pot I wanted to cook in had stains on it from prior tenants.
