The personal touch with friendly professional service combined with a good variety of meat cuts is what attract me to this butchery. A wide variety of biltong a d dried sausage product as well as different fresh sausage varieties ads to the pros. Always reasonable with prices and offering specials frequently. A thumbs up to Gerrit and his team!

To clarify, I have bought from this butchery several times before, and it has always been good. But lately my experiences have been poor.This past Friday I bought Biltong and Droe Wors.I am not exaggerating, it tasted awful. The biltong had an unpleasant taste, I couldn't it eat.The drop wors was so fatty, it left a terrible feeling in your mouth, like it's coated in fat.I was extremely disappointed.

Moved to George 3 months ago, and I was so happy to finally stop here… had to leave a review after yet another positive experience.Clean premises.Friendly staff.Fresh and Frozen Meats.Variety: Lamb/Beef/Wagyu and other goodies.Biltong! ;)I would suggest the Chilli/Spicy Biltong: Labeled- “nie vir sussies nie”. #uniqueThe size of the establishment makes for a easy, quick, shopping experience.

Barron's Meat Company is hands down the best butcher shop in George. The quality of their meat is simply exceptional. I'm a steak lover and their dry-aged steaks are out of this world! The meat is always fresh and the cuts are perfect. You can really taste the difference in the flavor and texture of the meat.
