Amazing! Can not put this place in words. It was fun with out trying. The staff are utterly amazing and the establishment speaks of a vast history! I loved it. Yes the dining experience was great and the drink was good!

If you are looking for calm, relaxed place but still wanna feel like you have visited the township, Cafe Ganesh is that place for you. Music will definitely take you there. Their variety from their menu, makes sure that you've arrived. If you are looking for a can, dumpie or ngudu, you'll be catered for. At Cafe Ganesh is where rainbow nation exist.

Had food there yesterday. The atmosphere is really nice and the prices are good, but the hygiene apparently is not.Got food poisoning and have been sick all night through to the morning. My boyfriend is sick as well. Everything we ate came right back out and we both feel terrible. So go there for drinks, dancing & the nice atmosphere, but leave the food alone.

The service was extremely dismal, alcohol selection was very limited with no cocktails available. The food took a long time to be served and there was no music. They advertised Snapscan on their door but surprisingly they did not let you pay with Snapscan. A very big inconvenience to many. The card machine was also faulty and the transaction did not go through. The bathrooms were not very clean but alright considering.

Was told about this place by client of mine. Visited and the food seem fine! Now I am sitting with severe stomach cramps! Beware where you eat! Sure food was off!

Visited after 15 - 20 years. Still going strong and glad the place still stands even after the Covid issues. Simplicity and good taste is the recipe for success indeed. The area OBZ will need need some cleaning up though. Lots of potential and the vibe is still there…

laid back vibe, good music, food is delicious and lemon meringe is a good way to end off a night of good food and great conversation in an intimate setting. I also love their veg wrap, and samoosas .

Cafe Ganesh is a beautiful place with beautiful people and they serve delicious food. We went there for my birthday and I can confidently say that Cafe Ganesh is 100% LGBTQ friendly and openly accepting of all races, sexualities and any orientation. I recommend this beautiful spot to anyone looking for an authentic South African experience. Love love love ♥️♥️♥️
