It is true that South Africans are being mistreated and denied entry to Dublin. My brother travelled for the cancer support conference.....when they reached Dubai they were told to go back to SA without a valid reason....just told to go back....after paying and booking everything

Apparently Ireland is not accepting any South Africans who wish to visit the island however, this information is not available on any official website or platforms, you will only find this out at the check-in point at the airport after you have booked and paid for everything. The worst part is all latest information indicates that you can visit their country.

I have had a really good experience with everyone that I have dealt with at the Embassy of Ireland in Pretoria. The whole team were communicative, professional and very attentive.Definitely the best experience I have ever had at any embassy or consulte.Thanks so much!

World class services offered . I sent a query on a Friday evening , I was not expecting any feedback until the Monday. However to my surprise, I received an in-depth response that very same Friday at 8pm. I was very impressed and appreciative . Keep up the great work and thank you !

Thank you to Doreen Phiri who went over and above to help me. I can imagine the embassy has not had an easy time. Doreen helped me with my special canundrum that I needed to travel to Ireland for work but my passport had not arrived. She provided me with my documents needed and a letter of support from my embassy. I am now sitting in quarantine for the next 14 days in Dublin, and can only give a massive thanks to Doreen for helping me make this happen, I was stressed but she eased that and proved that the embassy really is here for their people. Doreen has a positive attitude, and a highly efficient work ethic which makes her invaluable. All the best!

Very timeous email response and polite receptionist. This has not always been the case in the past, but it is good to see a major change in the quality of their service
