Vegan baked goods are delicious - great brownies! Well priced. Good coffee. Friendly staff.There is also a discount basket for older stock...it may have been the luck of the draw but the rusks I bought were incredibly hard.All in all, definitely worth a visit.

Parking is convenient and it is good because it is a facility for children of various ages can play. The food is delicious, too. When I visited, there were three or four birthday parties, so it was very crowded. There was no place to sit, so I stood and watched the child for a while. I went to a cafe and ordered food and drinks because they didn't go well on the table. I fully understand because there was very very busy. Normally, I was satisfied with the service and there was no problem. The weekend is very very busy.

They have moved from Main Rd Bergvliet to 126 Main Rd Diep River. Healthy bakery options. The old place had Lovely eclectic decor for a chilled breakfast or lunch but I have not been to the new venue yet. Great service. You have to try it.

Unfortunately they weren't properly open when I visited there. I went there specifically to buy some vegan cakes and biscuits. The chef was not in that day, so there were no vegan cakes. However they were vegan biscuits in abundance. I bought two packets of biscuits. Both are vegan. They are sugar free and use xylitol instead. The biscuits a very good value. They taste great but as with most confectionery, it's best not to overdo it in one go. Will be back for more biscuits and perhaps some vegan cake as well next time time.

This place is not Gluten free at all !!! They have been on Carte Blanche before for selling products containing gluten. What if u are a true celiac ?? U can literally die!!! I could never understand why someone who claims to have had an allergic child would con people like this. U are playing with peoples lives !!

The Freedom Place
First time visit to The Freedom Place which is situated on the corner, in Main Road, Die River opposite the Pet Place. It was on closing time, but they accommodated me for an Americano and a slice of Lemon Meringue Pie. The cake was super delicious, fresh and just so filling. They have a variety of cakes, cupcakes, which are so huge, biscuits, breads, etc. Will definitely go back again as they serve breakfast and lunch daily.
