We really enjoyed our horse riding in between the giraffes, wildebeest, antelope. Very good safety briefing and training. Very dedicated staff. We came here two years ago and we are very happy that we returned.Last time, we also went for a walk with the lions. That was truly awesome as well then and extremely highly recommended

Something about this land and farm that gets us coming back atleast twice or more in a year. Such a great weekend escape or even a mid week getaway from the busy city life of JHB. The horseback africa team displayed such friendly and excellent service each time we visited. The hiking, horse trails, wild life animal viewing and general feel of the place is always magical and each visit brought it's own little wild adventure!

Great place to get away from the busy city life and enjoy very informative horsetail and get up close and personal with wildlife. The Lion tour highlights some important conservation points and provides food for thought. The cuisine highlights the whole experience and I would definitely recommend a visit or even a stay over for any couple or family. The staff are all very friendly and makes you feel at home...

We did not stay over so I can not rate the rooms but the day out was beautiful. Lovely horses, lions roaring in the background and lazy winter sun on our faces

Karissa was our guide and she was absolutely amazing! Very informative and quite funny! I was terrified to do the lion walk but it turned out to be so much fun! The grown ups were amazing and the Cubs were so cute. Highly recommend!!!!

This was my first time visiting Colin's and doing a lion tour and it was just as magical as the first. My partner (who had never been before) absolutely loved it, and we both appreciated how knowledgable Kerissa was and how she answered all our questions! It's safe to say we fell in love with the lions and it's amazing to know that the money goes towards conserving this species and increasing their numbers (and genetic variation) in the wild! A must do if you're ever in Johannesburg. Everyone is so lovely and welcoming and it is a day you will never forget!! Thank you so much everyone.

We had an amazing experience, outstanding. Very profesional, doing everything they can to fulfill everyone's individual needs. They know their horses and found the perfect matches for us and our group. Taking great care after their horses and riders safety and providing extra opportunities during the ride for more experienced riders. Very interesting information about the animals and environment during the ride. We had an awesome day and unexpected the following morning a sunrise ride, which was better than fantastic! We needed to get back on time (long drive back to our home) and she took us back fast and took perfect care of the other riders. The staff is absolutely the best! That's more than a service!

As I traveled north across the African continent I came upon this wonderful experience. To ride horses amongst the native animals and then walk with lion cubs is truly a unique experience.
