The Country Cabin

We had an absolutely wonderful, tranquil few days at the cabin. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway. Barbara, the owner is most hospitable and very friendly..

Country Cabin is a cosy and welcoming sanctuary for anyone looking to escape the busy life and get lost in the magic St Helena Bay holds.It was such a delight to receive a wonderful warm welcome from the fabulous owner, Barbara. Hubby, our fur babies and I thoroughly enjoyed our time spent at Country Cabin, a succulent haven with rolling hills amidst vast countryside.It was truly incredible, from relaxing on the patio, swimming in the lovely pool, to our doggies running about in utter bliss and ending off the night with a traditional braai.Watching the sunset from the cabin over the Bay of Paternoster was remarkable. Barbara, it was stunning meeting you! We will always hold the weekend we had at Country Cabin close to our hearts. Thank you for your kindness and for the succulent spoils you sent home with us! We'll be back!

This is definitely not an excellent accommodation. It is overated and over priced. It is a tiny wooden cabin that looks like a wendy house and inside furnished with outdated old furniture. There is no space to move and not even a cupboard where you can hang or pack your clothes. This establishment needs a revamp , new curtains a new bed and bedding...everythig is just so old and ugly. Will not recommend this place at all.

There are not enough words to describe this place, but in a nutshell it is a beautiful gem that's perfect for a reset and break from the city life. The host Barbara has such a kind and caring nature. Little Goofy is just as cute as a button. I highly recommend that you book your stay and experience this peace for yourself.

Just spent my birthday weekend here,this place is perfect for a couple and a dog .The pool is great especially after a warm day out .The house is cosy and neat and has all you need.A huge thank you to Barbara ,such a lovely person

The Country Cabin situated in the beautiful St Helena Bay is a peaceful, tranquil, old school, homely, outdated and unmodernised accommodation. The cabin itself needs upgrading and a revamp considering the rate per night. Hospitality is great however facilities need to be renovated, new bed, shower, toilet and lounge area needed. The cabin is based in a windy back hill and holds no sea facing views of St Helena other than bay of paternoster. The pool is small and the wind is super unpleasant that you not able to swim. Would visit facility in future if upgraded or pricing is reduced by R550 per night or day.

What a beautiful setting, the cabin is perfect for a getaway break. Has ample facilities to make your getaway comfortable. It's ideal for the furry children. Barbara is a great hostess who went above and beyond to give me a warm welcome. Thank you for a stunning time.

Charming little cabin for 2. We brought the kids along and they enjoyed exploring the property...even found a tortoise. Barbara was a great host and especially helpful by pointing us to the great eateries in the area. We'll definitely be back!!
