I tried to report a person in my yard (tresspasser).They said it was not a crime and wouldn't open a case. I asked that they at least make an entry in the incidence register. They refused and told me to stop making a scene. All the while the station commander was sitting right behind the counter ignoring the argument. If you get into trouble, don't call them, you'll be wasting your airtime.

Unfortunately I can't rate it with zero stars!No way to contact the police station as no landlines to them work.I ended up contacting Wonderboom police station who assisted me even though I don't fall in their area

We opened a case two weeks ago of identity theft and was told to wait for a car because there was no police cars available after 2hours of waiting we were told to go home and that we will be called today two weeks later on the 28th of March 2022 when we go for a follow up on how far the case they have no response what's more frustrating is the one police officer at reception referred us to detective nkadimeng wen we go to his office he refuses to walk to us how and where can I report this imagine a whole public servant doesn't want to talk to us ........

Wanted to report our car as stolen since no one came to our house. Went to Hercules police station. They demanded a copy of the vehicle papers so I went and got the copy only to return and be told I can't open a case... Their landline isn't even working. Pathetic

Just deal with your own problems as you will deal with your own problems faster then calling the police .

I have to say if I could give more stars I would. I was very happy with the service I received. Staff were very friendly, professional and helped me quickly. The lady that assisted me was Baloyi Ntsako. Would definitely recommend her for quick and friendly service.

This is the most useless police station in South Africa! After numerous burglaries it became apparent that all they do is take statements for insurance purposes, they have zero interest in fighting crime. We have CCTV footage of a burglary in 2017 from which we made a wanted poster, we printed and laminated 50 copies and distributed it in the Kameeldrift west area and also asked that it be put on the police notice board, 2 weeks later it wasn’t on the notice board, a really simple request. The only response to the wanted poster was that the CCTV system was destroyed. In 2019 we left South Africa, one of the main reasons being crime.. we were just “gat vol”
