The tidal pool is a good place for the kids to cool off as the water level is not to high however no ideal for grown ups or older children as the water level is not high enough however at high tide it get high enough at the back of the tidel pool

Police was so visible, I felt safe.... There was staff to clean and they gave out black bags and all children was tagged in case they go missing..... It's was nice being there!!....

Strandfontein Beach
Strandfontein pavilion is a nice place to visit. Especially during summer. It has the largest tidal pool I believe in the southern hemisphere. Strandfontein pavilion is also a blue flagged beach well known for its fisherman. Small and large families flocks to the beach daily . It can be packed on any given day. Place has been neglected for years needs a bit of a fix up. Most parts has been vandalised. Best time to visit this beach is early in the morning. Ample parking spaces.

Really enjoyed being here. The water isn't too cold, the atmosphere is very calming. The lifeguards were so kind and helpful- telling us to go deep because the waves were getting a bit too strong. I would rate my experience a 9/10, definitely would recommend. It's a safe place to bring children because they have a pool, which they can enjoy.

Strandfontein Pavillion is pretty nice to spend time with friends and family. The Tidal pool is great for big and small. Area is well monitored by CCC staff as well as the Life savers. Recommended if you in the area and looking to just chill.

Strandfontein Beach
Stranfontein Beach is close to home. So, it's ideal for me to jog to and fro. It is ideal for families and is quite occupied summer time. There is over enough parking and space along the beach and tidal pool. Unfortunately, people have bad habits, so it's not always as clean as one would expect. Other than that, it is frequented by fishermen on a regular basis as well. It is decent for a quick breath of fresh air.
