Serobe on Vaal

This camp was one of the worst I've ever had the excessive use of shouting to control children is just sad ... the women who owns the camp never takes part in anything for she lacks passion and only appears to spread negativity towards children ...The man who owns the place is very passionate and tries to involve himself though ... most facilitators had no idea how to work with children besides beast and chilli bite who dedicated themselves ,they were the best facilitators I've ever met and they are the only reason I'm not giving one star

The outside area is very nice green grass enough shade... the fishermens houses can do with an paint outside and maybe more venting as there is mould on the shouwer tiles and ceiling in shouwer and room, mis to have warm water at the sink mabe a broom in the house

Every once in a while, you meet a huckster. Someone that should not be in our INDUSTRY. Mario Le Grange is such a person. Serobe-on-Vaal as venue could be a jewel. It has the setting for it. But it needs a passionate Resort Manager and not the huckster I had to deal with. Very few of the promises were delivered.

Very dirty, fire extinguisher not serviced due to schedule and the owner was extremely rude when talking to us.

Enjoyed an adventure camp at Serobe. It is as if you visit with friends when you go there. Always treated well. Ifeal for small and large groups. Facilitators has a knack to get the campers to participate in all activities. Serves wholesome meals.

The venue itself was all that we wanted and expected, but several of the services that we paid for was not rendered or available to our group.

Chillibite and Beast saved this camp for me.. if it weren't for them, I would have given this a one star.The other facilitators were definitely not trained to work with secondary school students and were not very welcoming.The food was definitely the worst I have ever had at a camp.There were probably only 3 proper meals out of the four days I spent there and they were very stingy with portions.. I would say that people were unsatisfied with the amount of food that they received.The rules at the camp were silly and created problems I've never had at another camp in my life.Otherwise, the activities were amazing,informative and fun. The owner was extremely friendly and fun to work with.

It is a nice place on the banks of the vaalriver. Chalets and braai area.Just for that quiete break away for you and your spouse or family..schools and many more..little bridge to an Island.
