Extraordinary dining experience. Our waiter Patson was very informed on menu items and we adored his recommendations.As a vegetarian, I found the menu had a wide variety of 3-4 options that catered to different palates. I’d personally recommend the gnocchi for fellow vegetarians.The manager Corne is also a complete gem who was more than eager to make our experience nothing short of exceptional. Will definitely be coming again and if Patson is your waiter, consider yourself in great hands.

I had the 250g grilled ostrich fillet and it was fantastic. It is prepared medium because it simply tastes better that way, super juicy and the sweet sauce it was basted with made everything just *chef’s kiss. I had mine with the regular potato fries and they were good - you can tell they were frozen but they were great while the temperature was still good.To start with drinks, I had the regular passion fruit and lemonade. Mocktail options available are the cosmopolitan, the strawberry daiquiri and the pina colada. I picked the cosmopolitan and it was delicious, a little on the sweet side for cranberry juice but I enjoyed it.Loved this rustic, old money vibes steakhouse. Satisfied with the service and the food, will definitely visit again. I have a feeling the vibes will be better at dinner time.Bonus: you can bring your own wine bottle and they have a private dining area for parties and such.

We went on a Tuesday for the couple’s special, NB make a reservation if you plan on trying the Tuesday special, it gets quite full. We had the 3 course meal for R525, despite it being packed, our waiter and the manager was on top of their game, so that was really a highlight for me. The food was okay, we had chicken livers and calamari strips for the starters, the calamari was fantastic, for mains my partner had the steak and I had a burger, the steak was cooked to perfection, the burger was a bit underwhelming, and for dessert we both had malva pudding, this was the star of the show. The wine was okay, a bit harsh on the tannins if you’re not used to full bodied reds but a decent wine nonetheless. The chocolate drink thing was confusing, it was wayy to thick and rich to be considered a drink so I don’t know what that was about. Overall I’d definitely go back atleast one more time for this special in particular. But outside the special? Firm favourite spot for lunches and dinners, their food has never disappointed me before

I love this little spot.Steaks are excellent and they have some of the tastiest sides. It's really nice for a date night with your partner or dinner with friends.

The Hussar Grill Waterfall Corner
We went to chill at the Hussar Grill to recover from Post-Rage Expo shenanigans. The food was good and the atmosphere very laid back and relaxing. It was good to enjoy the food whilst watching kids play in the water fountain area with a live musician playing music covers.

First off I’m a pensioner so can be a bit grumpy. This is a restaurant and not a canteen vibe , no echoes cosy vibe . Fussy with our meat, rump was super soft and tasty. I had the springbok steak, wasn’t cooked quite enough but they happily took it away and cooked it a bit longer, fabulous. Sides were also excellent, yes vegetables can be messed up but butternut not greasy creamed spinach not too much cream. Food arrived quickly service from staff brilliant, trainee very good. Impressed with staff training, meal completed with complementary chocolate martinis. I had a sip, not allowed alcohol for health reasons, tasted like warm liquid velvet chocolate. Highly recommend. Will be be returning to this branch.

Made a reservation for 18:30, arrived there by 18:24, got escorted to our table and sat there until 19:10 when my partner had to complain that no one came through to take our order.Basically, service was none existent, food was good though.Oh, the reservation was made for an anniversary dinner date, but hey, one has to make best of their situation, I guess.

What an amazing experience, our waiter Major attended to all our needs. He was friendly and explained the meals thoroughly to us. The host was so friendly at the door and got us the best seat in the house. Overall for a date night 100% recommend.
