Hi Everyone, I don’t write reviews, I don’t know much about horses either. My two daughters 11 and 13 have been to Horse riding facilities around PE. I’ve been and seen most of them.The Hill is just on another level in all departments. Do yourself a favour and go experience it for yourself, you will experience another world, right here in Port Elizabeth. My experience of the Hill was people that are very passionate about what they do but without the “we are the best” attitude. Staff is very friendly and you feel welcome. The facilities are state of the art and they are always expanding. They have a online booking system, so you can book your rides from your phone weeks in advance. There are cameras everywhere so you can log on anytime and see how your horse is doing. The scenic view is from another planet, you can see as far as your eyes can take you. From the Distant lady slipper mountains to bird island in the bay.They have their own solar plant generating their own electricity, they own water plant, The Hill is huge with many hectares so lots of space to go riding with 360 degree views.There is a advanced gym facility for you as the rider to train, linked to a swimming pool area all with high end modern finishes.If you are looking for riding lessons or a place to board your Horse or just to experience a true Equestrian estate on a whole new level The Hill should be at the very top of your list.

What a beautiful, peaceful and magnificent place. Drove up to the hill to catch the sunset, it was so perfect. The hosts are lovely and we even got to feed the horses in the stables. This is such a lovely slice of the country side right in Port Elizabeth, it’s such a hidden gem that needs to be known by many!

The tranquillity of the estate gives you the feeling of being outside on the country side. Its peaceful. Very well maintained. Beautiful Horses. Best view in Port Elizabeth.

I live in Johannesburg and co-own a Friesian stallion with the owners. The picture with the yellow halter is from when Marnus arrived in September 2022; the other 2 pictures are is 7 months later !!! I've visited many yards, but this place tops it all. They have a massive staff and support team, their systems and organisation is world-class. Their feed management processes are bespoke and off an absurd organization. Just visit the yard and look at each of the horses. Besides all of that: the place is stunningly beautiful.

I was absolutely astonished about the beauty of the place and the warm welcoming staff at the hill equestrian centerI felt right at home the horses are well taken care off the camps are luscious and spacious.
