LDR engines and gearboxes Cape town

If I could have given LDR a no star rating I would have. We have been trying to deal with these people for 2 months noe after they requested we pay for an engin and installation which was nearly R50 000. They have still not done anything to our car and we ask for an update weekly. Each time they have a different excuse. And no one is available to talk to you. The manager needs to man up and sort his employees out. Divan and Donovan are never able to help you. We are currently still waiting for our car Mazda 6 to be finished. Poor poor poor servicr is still an understatement.

I bought a bmw engine from LDR not only was the sales staff service exelent the engine was also fitted by the mechanics who I will definitely be coming back to for all my service and other BMW needs

Where do i start,well if there was no stars,that will be what i give lrd. What a bad expierience.1. Car was late and i was the whole festivities without car.2. When the car was ready it was not ready,suddenly there was no clutch and i had to spend another 5000 with engine it came to 26000.3. It looked like the car was not service ,cause auxiliary belt was cracked and oil filter dented and rusted, spark plugs old and oil dark. But Wesley insisted it was. Oh Wesley need to learn how to speak and handle customers, thats willing to spend +20000 @ there shop. Now i dont know if this shop is racist, but it sure look like it.4. They stripped my old engine for parts to put on so called 84000 km engine ,without my permission. Did i mension my alternator also gone.5. Today i am without a car cause 2 cylinders died on me ,it is not the old plugs that is in there or the coils ,so next test will be a compression test ,if thats the problem ,then it means head gasket. I want to cry,but i wont set tears for crooks or bad service, rather consult lawyers.6. Also the 1 nut on the so called new 2nd motor that holds the coil assembly down was gone.7. People if you care about your hard sweat earned money , I urge you stay away from lrd.8. I really thought they professional the way there ads portrait ,its a lie. See attach pics.

I am really impressed with service we received from Divan and his team at LDR. My dad bought a engin from them more than a year ago, he sadly lost the invoice and urgently needed it to clear the engin, they really went the extra mile to locate this purchase and could successfully re-send us the invoice. They are highly recommended! Welldone!

Terrible Terrible Terrible service, they are chancers! They don't give any updates after ordering and paying for a gearbox in full. Was told it'll take 2 Weeks worse case" from Johburg. After 3 weeks I finally got my gearbox after collecting it on my expense even though I live 60km away. After dropping it off at my mechanic the next day I found out it wasn't even the correct gearbox with complete different mounting points. They now refuse to refund me

Goodness I don’t even know where to start. My initial impression was good. I liked the look of the website, and was impressed by the workshop and telephone manners.That all changed soon after we paid the deposit. I wish I had dug deeper before making use of their services.To cut a long story short. After countless lies and 7 weeks, we finally collected the vehicle.It is terribly noisy and is misfiring. Obviously only running on 3 cylinders. We are almost certain that the battery has been exchanged for another and there is an oil leak.Guarantee - you got to be kidding me! There is no way I would ever let these people near a vehicle of mine again.

I was very sceptic to order from a business that far from me due to scams. I almost cancelled the search and then Devon calmed something in me. I paid a deposit to be safe and I did received my 2 sub assembly's. I paid them my outstanding amount with no one lying on my back for it. I am so impressed with how they treated me. I already again ordered a head cylinder and is in waiting for it. I will use them again and again. Thank you Devon for reassuring me in my transactions with LDR.

I bought a Range Rover Sport from LDR 4 years ago. The cars is amazing and was well looked after. Kudos to Divan and his team for the greatest service and care I receive every time I visit for a service!
