On their website they advertise Quad bike tracks. So drove all the way from joburg with my quad bikes only to find the track is closed and they are no longer doing it. What a waste of time and money. Please remove the Quadbike tracks from your website if you are no longer doing it

Second time visiting the resort. But it was disappointing the second time. 1st. NO Toilet paper in the Ablution blocks. You get one roll at the gate but if thats finished you must PAY for another one. (It is undignified to walk around with a toilet roll and sometimes you go for a walk now you must first go to the caravan to fetch the paper, by that time its almost to late.)2nd. The toilets can do with a rail for people with bad knees to pull them up, because toilets are low.3rd. NO RAILS by the swimming pool.. So the older folks or people with knee problems can't get in or out of the swimming pool.

Gr8 place to spend some quality time with the family on the banks of the vaal river they have some very nice accommodation,excellent size pool and n on site bar n shap with just super gr8 owners at the bar, uncle theo, keep it up.

Lovely pool. Nice vibe. Caravan sites are a little small, but lovely to use. Ablutions are sufficient. Great playground for kiddies.

My husband and I spend one night here on 10 November 2022.We stayed in Blesbok cabin. It contained a double bed, fridge kitchen table, crockery and cutlery. Small but enough. Ablution block a bit far from cabin and water.Fishing went okay stairs down to water very steep and slippery. Fishing area a bit tight for casting.

Perfect stop over for the night! Beautiful views of the Vaal river (we stayed in the campsite). Friendly and helpful staff. Clean and tidy ablution blocks.

I don't hand out 5 stars easily. We made a very late booking for the Easter Weekend, but we did get a stand after a cancellation. An A+ for staff attitude and helpfulness. The water conditions were theoretically not good for fishing due to the high water levels and strong water flow due to the sluices being opened, but we caught a good bag of carp averaging at around 3kg's. Tried for barbel once, landed a 4kg after 10 minutes. Can't wait to go back when the water conditions are better!

We stayed in a camp cabin, it was fine but would have been much better off with our camping trailer. It is really basic and if you take everything as for camping it is fine. For example we didn't know to take supplies to clean the provided cutlery so couldn't really use it. There is no seating inside also no water connection. All this being said the lady running the place made up for this and really went out of their way to make it a nice stay and accommodate us with arriving late hence the 4 stars. There is also a well stocked store and a bar on site.

Great fishing experience, the rooms were all well maintained and service was great , the distance from Johannesburg was amazing as well . Highly recommend paying a visit if you don't mind the communal toilets ( toilets are very clean )
