Utara Game Farm

If you need silence, rest and piece this is a place you must visit. The facilities are fantastic, the hosts are great and yet you are close to the town should you need anything. The gardens, the chalets and the farm is just supurb. This farm caters for families and groups to relax, play and enjoy.

Lovely and beautiful place there was a handsome young man to help us to the chalet’s his name was Henri he was very kind and made sure we were ok when we heard the animals in the middle of the night he scared them off by moaning back at them best experience ever

Beautiful and very neat, somewhere to rest away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Will visit again. Santie is very friendly and welcoming and makes you feel at home.

Very quiet and nothing to do except for swimming a little and long walks to see animals. You can't go for a game drive with your own car. It's more for someone that needs peace and quietness around them. Only nature and You. To go for a scenic drive, you will see beautiful places and crocodile farms around. There is aswell a cable car to go up on the mountain and a restaurant on top. Utara is close to town. Very safe and clean.

I had a great time. It was quiet. The accommodation was excellent.We saw giraffes and other game. Be sure to take lots of insect repellent and towels. It's really close to town, if you need any supplies.

We were desperate for a short break away from the everyday hustle and bustle. During our search for reasonable accommodation, we came across Utara Game Lodge. From what we read on different internet sites, we were comfortable that this was what we wanted and we made a reservation. From that first call we were treated in a professional, accommodating and welcoming manner.Upon our arrival, we were met by Santie who totally surprised us by having us CHOOSE a chalet! She escorted us from the one to the other to select any chalet of our choice. We met Hennie the following day and found them to be such a charming, genuine and accommodating couple.Hennie invited us to join them on the Monday to experience darting and relocating game from one site to another. Needless to say, my husband was ecstatic since this was his first experience darting, relocating and transporting game.Our chalet was serviced promptly every day and the braai area left spotless every morning. We had everything we needed, were comfortable and it felt like our home away from home. The garden is breath-taking, the tranquillity overwhelming and the peace and quiet so delightful and just what we needed. No TV, no noise, no rush – just breath-taking, long walks and exceptional birdlife at your doorstep.Even though we stayed for 9 days, it was much, much too short! We reluctantly left with rejuvenated bodies, minds and hearts. When we drove off, It felt like we said goodbye to lifetime friends and we promised ourselves to be back as soon as we possibly can…

Lovely place we took our daughter and some friends for her 21st. Clean and very well kept. Owners where super friendly and provided us with all we needed. Chalets were beautiful and clean, lovely big lapa ,clean pool and nice games room (pool).Great pity we only stayed one night!
