Cielo Furniture Store - Design Quarter
Not what I expected looking at the website, the furniture pieces looked small, so I am a bit concerned about how my order will come out. Customer service was amazing. Everyone was attentive and helpful.UpdateReceived my order! The colour is exactly what I hoped for, and it looks amazing.They manufactured the wrong base size, which I accepted and had to pay a small price for, not ideal but it fit and it's hardly noticeable once I've put the bedding on.

Cielo Furniture Store - Design Quarter
I am having an absolute awful experience with your company exactly a month and 4 days ago I received the incorrect couch colour because of sales staff (Milisa Cielo Fourways) that from the beginning of my visit didn’t seem to care for my business or to assist me. Then I started dealing with Chante, who is clearly only a button pusher with no initiative. It took a month just to return my couch during this time Chante knew I would be requiring the correct couch once the old one has been taken back. However even after the couch was collected she still proceeded to wait before checking if the warehouse had stock of the couch I would now be needing after the incorrect couch was fetched.If she applied a little initiative, then she would have ensured that the couch was in-stock or made the arrangements which she only proceeded to make a day after receiving the couch back in the warehouse. I still don’t have a tracking number and I have been calling non stop every day for updates.

Came to this store on the 25 Feb and I was disappointed with my experience. Rude staff. I opened one of the metal cabinets and the door fell off. The staff member accused me of unlocking it and asked me how I'm gonna pay for it like it broke it. The cabinet should have not been on the floor to begin with as it could have serious hurt someone. Train your staff to talk to customers with respect. I just bought a new place and we came in looking for furniture. After being treated like that we immediately left and walked across to Coricraft.

Cielo Furniture Store - Design Quarter
Their customer and delivery services are the absolute pits.After purchasing a bed set (Base, Headboard & Mattress), I was told that delivery will take 7-14 working days. In about 8 days into that time, in enquire on delivery arrangements, since I had not received any communications from them, only to find that it has not been scheduled yet, for delivery from Port Elizabeth to Johannesburg. All this would have taken longer had I not intervene. We finally get delivery on the 14th day after the wakeúp call, and insisted that the packages be opened when delivery guys are busy. We noted a worn out headboard and immediately noted this on the delivery note before signing. That was on the 25th February 2022. After a week & a half of no communication again, I enquired and was told that the note on the delivery slip does not mean anything as they outsource delivery and do not get the slip. Ok fine, no judgement, then lets move onto you guys taking back your damaged furniture and replacing it or crediting my account. I was told that packaging (boxes & tapes, etc) will be sent to me (the customer) to securely package the furniture for them before they can arrange for collection. REALLY!!!. It took another week for packaging to get here, and again taking another week or so before they can collect. As I write this, it is 23rd March 2022, with an uncollected package, no credited account, and we are a full month from the first delivery and 1 & half month since the purchase.I hardly rate businesses down, but this experience has been the absolute pits. I tried keeping this short, as there is a lot I am leaving out that came as responses from customer service and management.

Absolutely awful customer service. I am still awaiting feedback on a bed that broke in the warranty period.Management" is still assessing my case while I have no bed to sleep on. Inhumane with Absolutely no care. Once they have sold you a poor quality product there is no aftercare or customer retention. Do not waste your money on experience items that give you a "guarantee/warrantee". Cielo has no honor.After the above review ... I finally received feedback from Cielo - their solution to poor quality bed and the supporting legs that keep on bending and breaking is to place a mat under the bed to give more stability ????? HOW can any company even think this is ok ??"

Cielo Furniture Store - Design Quarter
It never fails to amaze me how rude the staff in Cielo's stores are. I have yet to be greeted when entering one of their stores. When I have asked for help it seems like I am putting them out for doing their job. It is also always a disappointment that you can purchase little outright from their shops as they do not keep stock of most items. I certainly understand this when it comes to a couch but not small items that they should be able to keep on hand. All in all badly trained staff and usually a very disappointing experience. Certainly something I will avoid in the future.

Cielo Furniture Store - Design Quarter
I really hate giving companies negative reviews on social platforms. Unfortunately after a month of trying to deal with this company, I have no choice.We purchased a Asgard Queen four poster bed and side tables from Mellisa at Cielo Design Quarter on the 13th April 2023 for 30000 rand. We collected the bed and assembled at home. The slats the mattress sits on top off were totally rotten and riddled with wood worm holes to the extent that 4 of them actually snapped in half as soon as weight was applied. Cielo was contacted and immediately went all terms and conditions on us. After 3 or 4 days of back and forth frustration, Cielo customer care agreed to replace the slats. Today is the 10th of May, a month has passed and after nothing but lies, empty promises and no accountability taken by them, we still do not have our bed slats to put our mattress on top of.Unlike Cielo I keep my promises, and I promised a social review of their service if I had not received a call back from them today, 10 May 2023 by 12H00.Simply stay away from this company when looking to buy furniture, they over promise and under deliver.

Should have read reviews before purchasing at Cielo. An absolute nightmare! A huge disappointment!Waited 7-14 days for dining chairs only for ALL the chairs to be faulty and wobbly.Customer service is useless to say the least, Cielo does not put the customer first!Same day exchange request has been declined.Assembly request declined.Now I should wait another 7-14 days for you to collect these sub-standard chairs and deliver new ones which will likely be faulty aswell. Waste of time and effort

Cielo Furniture Store - Design Quarter
Store itself has nice things, but after sales service especially dealing with their couriers and with the after sales staff to return items that are defected is an absolute nightmare. Strangely Cielo is not an active participant in the fulfillment of the orders. They essentially make you deal directly with the courier company and manage all the hassle of that experience. So I would avoid buying from them if you cannot arrange your own collection of the items.Update:After finally receiving my item after delays, i can say that the product does not meet my expectations of what I saw in the store. Also returning items is not a seamless process, feedback from the team here on Google Reviews is not helpful, they dont actually help you resolve the problem. Downgrading the rating from 2 to 1.
