I thought you guys are all about helping those who can't afford a normal vet. I bought my dog in for a consultation today, my appointment was at 11 and waited an hour to be seen. I was told my treatment for my dog will be R3500. Okay, fine. I asked if I could arrange a payment plan as that is my whole salary to which I was giveb a NO. How do you now expect people to get the treatment they need for their babies?! I was told that there was nothing they could do Which is rubbish! The guy at the gate is also very unfriendly and doesn't know what's going on. I don't know what I'm going to do now!

My mom adopted Max from the AACL, she paid them to chip him. Max went missing, we posted about him all over social media, my mom even contacted AACL and asked if they have found a Jack Russel, they told her no but they will let her know if he does come into the AACL. We never heard anything. On Sunday 04/12/2022 my mom came across this post of Max on the AACL Facebook page. My mom then contacted them this morning 05/12/2022, and was informed that they had put Max down, with different stories, that oh he was aggressive (which he was not as he was around other dogs and never had a problem or was never aggressive with them), after my mom told them he was not aggressive, they just didn't know what to say. And to top it off he was never chipped so basically the AACL lied and stole my mothers money. As you can see in the post they started to advertise him for adoption on the 01/12/2022, a month after he was taken to the AACL. Absolutely appalled with the AACL, my mother is distraught and heartbroken. Max was not even two years old!!!!! And you guys are still advertising him for adoption which is false advertising and then proceeded to delete mine and my sisters comments off Facebook, informing people of what you had done!!! You are a bunch of disgusting people. No hearts!!!!!!! I see they use that a dog is aggressive just so they can put an animal down, go read on other reviews you will see the same excuse.

My brothers dog Meggie that has become our family dog since staying with us was brought in on Saturday morning the 20/05/23 to see the Veteranian Dr, after she was showing signs of a chest infection,my partner took my brother and Meggie to see the Vet at the AACL, on Saturday morning, last, after which ,the Vet could not perform xrays, because of loadshedding,(does this mean then, that there no back up resources like Generators or inverters at the AACL, idk ),nevertheless, the Veterinarian Dr checked out Meggie and asked us to come back on monday ,the 22/5,to perform the xrays, which we agreed to,shortly afterwards, the vet administered two injections ,a cortisone injection and an antibiotic injection, apparently, and released Meggie to my brother, and to my partner, and they then also administered medication to take home for our family dogUpon 5 to 10 minutes later whilst my brother returned his dog in our vehicle and was waiting for my partner to receive the medication at the counter,Meggie suddenly went limp,Just a couple of minutes later ,when my partner got to the vehicle ,Meggie sadly passed away !!!!!?????We are still in shock and trauma about this unexpected incident !!How does an appointment which the Veternarian Dr diagnoses or calls it a chest infection, and administers two injections, then end up in our family dog passing away, minutes later after receiving them?,after we were told to bring our beautiful dog back on the Monday the 22/05/23 !!!!We still do not have any detailed answers, or any proper apologies from the AACL, and we are waiting for a response from them.Always check everything and get a second opinion if you have to ,if time allows you toMay our beautiful dog Rip and we know Her spirit is with our Almighty Creator nowPleayourpperform x Ray's during to losdshedding

Verry good service. You do have to pay but not an arm and a leg. Doctors and assistants know what they are doing. Receptionist is polite willing to help and listen.Open on Saturday till 12pmAfter treating my doggo he is not crying anymore stayed for 2 days. They almost gave me the wrong doggo but better service then a vet that charge ungodly amounts. Vet and receptionists are amazing even the assists.

Nowhere at any shelter have I felt the compassion and love the staff have for the animals. I was lucky enough to go to the kennels which were clean and dogs looked after. With Dr. Sooliman and Dr Sandra and their whole team behind the scenes I am confident my animals would be well looked after and loved.

One star short of perfect because the man who assisted my mother when collecting my pup from surgery was very very rude. Ignorantly told my mother who is retired to, I quote, “just take your dog and leave” when asking for assistance in locating and leashing our pup in the kennels.Other than this one rotten experience, all my other visits have been nothing short of amazing. Reception is lovely and very accommodative. The vets are very sweet and patient. Would highly recommend taking your animals here for superb care. They genuinely love animals and will give your pet royal treatment.

Very nice dr. Explained some things but missed that our dog is diabetic which is what I specifically asked to check for.
