Dragon Taekwondo

If you are looking for a TKD club for yourself or your child/children, then please look no further! There is something very special about this club, that is extremely difficult to find. The instructors are very passionate about what they teach, and they really care about their members. They teach technique, skill, confidence, respect and discipline, whilst at the same time maintaining a very friendly, caring, non-judgements and patient approach. They make everyone feel comfortable, safe and included, and it really does feel like a big TKD family. It is very rare to find a club like this one!

Dragon TKD is a fantastic club for both beginners and experienced martial artists. I was apprehensive about training again after many years away from martial arts. But (Kwanjangnim) Darran and (Sabeomnim) Ange made me feel very welcome. The atmosphere is friendly but professional and Darran's exceptional knowledge and experience of Taekwondo and Moo Duk Kwan bring a depth to the teaching which is very pleasing to receive.Of course, for the large and fun children's classes, held at several local schools, this is delivered wrapped in engaging activities and plenty of high-energy games, and the etiquette and discipline become part of the routine.For adults like myself, you can come along with no experience of TKD and develop a fitness routine that goes hand in hand with new knowledge and skills. And meet a great communiity of people as well. Recommended!

I first met the Dragon Taekwondo family when my three children took up Taekwondo after school. Darran mentioned they were starting up an adults class so I couldn't resist and have been training with them now for over two years. Darran and Ange are an incredible couple with the patience of angels!Darran's approach to instructing is absolutely fantastic with the perfect mix of fun and discipline. At the time of meeting, I was enjoying an unhealthy lifestyle (like many parents!) - Darran has turned my life around both physically and spiritually. I highly recommend any adult interested in martial arts give Dragon Taekwondo a go - you'll find a very friendly group waiting to welcome you!

I never thought Taekwondo would be for me as I did not know much about the marital art world. The environment that Ange and Darran have created is just incredible, not only do they make me feel safe, I feel empowered and lifted up to believe in things I never thought I could achieve. If there is a sport that you want to give a try, definitely consider this club.

Dragon Taekwondo have always aimed to not only teach the right skills but have worked very hard on cultivating a culture within their studio that is welcoming, encouraging and aiming to build us up mentally in a way that it is a skill we can use outside taekwondo. No matter what age they are working with the Darren and Angie teach with a passion that will encourage you and challenge you to be the best martial artist you can. They have especially done well to keep training via zoom classes during this time, making them engaging enough to actually want to join a zoom call.

I don't have enough great words to recommend this business. My kid has been training for 3 years and I have watched her confidence and self esteem grow under the careful supervision and guidance of the instructors. Her focused attendance and dedication to this sport is a token of her love for the sport and the instructors, Darran and Ange. They are kind, caring, approachable and very organized. My family feels part of the Taekwondo family which makes us feel safer in these challenging times.

We love training at Dragon Taekwondo. The instructors are very welcoming, approachable, organised and respectful. They make everyone feel like they belong and are safe. It has been incredible watching the positive mind/body growth and character building in all the students. Family oriented and excellent facility.

My two children have been training with Darran since they started school and it helped with their coordination, confidence and discipline. I joined the adult classes later and I love it. Darran and Ange are great instructors - encouraging and professional. The classes are engaging and well balanced. I gained some new skills and it is also a very good workout:)
