Had our floors done by Jacques Malan owner of SA Floors, Coatings and Maintenance Group of Companies, Rock Solid Garage Floors. I contacted Jacques to come and look at our floors because our floors was cracking and lifting. Jacques sent one of his employees to come and take pictures of our floors. After a week I asked Jacques for feedback on my floors and he advised me that he is waiting for feedback from his supplier and that 80% of his clients has problems with the product ........I phoned the supplier and asked when I can expect feedback, they advise me that Jacques never contacted them and said that they will come and look at my floors. They issued me with a report advise that the failure lies with the application of the product and not with the product itself. On the same day I sent Jacques the report. He then immediately blocked me from phoning him, he also doesn’t respond to my emails and on the same day he conveniently liquidated his company SA Floors. Please be aware of Jacques Malan. Take the time to read ALL his reviews on all social media platforms. You will just waste your time and your money. Jacques gave us a 5 year warranty on the product and workmanship but when we contacted him he had numerous excuses and gave us the run around for a month and still no feedback……. He is never available when I phone him, and he also doesn’t respond to emails or return phone calls. Please don’t waste your time and money on any of his services and products. See photos attached together with the Liquidation letter.Update_05-12-2019 - It's funny how Jacques can find the time to reply to this comment but still no feedback from him on my query.........As per the report from the supplier I have replied to their email and Jacques was CC's in the email but just ignored the email and still haven't taken the time to read the email or to respond to the email. Herewith my feedback to the supplier on the report and also no feedback from the supplier on my email.....You have noted in the email that the sealer is lifting in the high traffic areas although the bedroom that my husband is using now as a studyhad a bed in it since we have done the floors in 2017 and we have made him a study area there in the beginning of November hence the fact that we started this questioning on the floors.When we took out the bed in the room we noticed the cracks and lifting of the sealer and in a NON-Traffic area in our case under the bed.The other room also hardly used as that is just a spare room also has the cracking.Both our room downstairs have bed's in and those beds have been there since the floors was done two years ago.My question is why would we see the cracking and lifting of the product under the bed in a NON-traffic area?As mentioned earlier to Jacques he is the responsible party and he needs to provide me with the feedback on how he is going to rectify my floors. I took it in my own hands to contact you dueThe fact that he is “waiting feedback” from his supplier since 5 November and refuses to give me feedback until he has a report on the product?I really appreciate your help and taking the time to report to me, your team have just been helpful to me from the day I contacted you and even though I didn’t buy the product from you.

What a waste of time and money. Terrible to say the least. Can't deliver on their promises whether it's time, quality or workmanship. Told me 2 weeks but they took 3 months and messed my house up. Gave them ample time to fix their problems now they still want to experiment further at my expense and time. Jacques the owner admitted to not having faith in their new solution (5th attempt) , agrees that I rather tile my house and then retracts. I would never recommend them . I can write a short novel with pics on my experience with them. Stay away.

Where do i even start with this company. long story short, been asking for a refund as their Vinyl quote i rather opted for than the Screeded flooring worked out 17K more then their closet opposition. ridiculous. Jacques then argued that it was not apples for apples and indeed it was. asked for a refund, was promised a refund on the 26th September to be paid on the following Friday the 4th October.wont respond to any emails.

Poor workmanship (how they managed to get screed on our ceiling is still mystery) and even worse after sales support. This applicator left us with damages to sliding doors and the installation started lifting within two weeks. They came once to look, made promises and then disappeared.Edit (response to SA Floor): @SA floor, we were in constant contact with Ryno and your branch manager Ash, whom where the ones that came out to have a look and then disappeared. We have since had the installation lifted completely and re-done.

Please be very wary of this company, paid in full and product took more than 3weeks to deliver. Their quality of work is terrible with no after sales. When I complained the owner threatened and swore at me. Another week, it still all the product that we purchased have not been delivered. Floors is a total mess, they tried to do a quick fix, and now it is even in a worse condition. Refusing to refund or deliver product purchased. Jaques Malan is a terrible person to do business with.

Horrible horrible service by SA FLOORS, crooks .. i had the misfortune of dealing with Jacques and sa floors, attached are pics of my R70 000 floors which have cracked and lifted after 3 months. With numerous attempts to call Jacques who simply does not pic up or his occasional reply to my desperate whats apps, he has repeatedly promised to send someone to fix my floors but no one ever turns up, he has also declined to meet me in person and now suggest his business is closing down ... be warned people

But I do need you to come over and tell me how you think the floor in the kitchen and entrance can be fixed.Thanks.

Worst Service! Floors were installed 2 month ago, after fighting about the terrible cracks in my flooring and the hairs left under the flooring resin, they finally agreed to come fix it and asked us to move out for a second time. The installation company lifted the flooring and re prepped the floor, for screed to find out they they have run out of stock, and promised to have us in our house within a week, then all of a sudden we were promised a refund due to supplier issues ( after talking to the supplier he hadn't paid for any new stock). To date nothing has been done! we are weeks away from Christmas and looks like we will have to start again and spend more money to fix their horrible mess. With a baby due in a few weeks it was urgent to be back in my house but the company/owner has stopped replying to emails . Now we left with unlivable floors with no one to help us in December. The owner of the company Jacques Malan, will not respond to emails, or calls leaving us with nothing left to do ! We at the mercy of these bad contractors who just steal your money and don't fulfill any guarantee or order ! You start to loose faith in the goodness of people.Same company as : Coatings and Maintenance , Rock solid Floors

SA Floors came to fix" their mess after a big fight and an extra R12000 we had to pay for product to do the fix. Product that they advised us to use. Photo's below is taken appox. 48 hrs after they "fixed" it. They still had rooms to do... We get no feedback

Poor workmanship, even after 3 attempts, it's still not right. Owner Jacques Malan never returns calls. If you are putting a screed over tiling, dont use these guys, our experience was an absolute nightmare !!!
