Dogwoods Grooming Parlour

I have been taking my 2 dogs, an Irish(Red)Setter and Border Collie/Golden Spaniel, to Dogwoods for several years. The owner is very kind to the dogs and myself. The dogs are always a bit worried when you drop them off, but always happy on fetching and not distressed. They cut extremely well and prices are very reasonable. Definitely recommend Dogwoods to anyone.

Awesome friendly experience , definitely a grooming parlour that really cares about the dogs and their well being whilst there being cleaned and groomed !It's about time that such a pleasant animal loving person opens a grooming parlour around here and put most others to shame , for not only their poor service , but their absolute lack of care about the dogs and their well being ! The owner supervises the grooming , is actually physically involved in it too and he puts a lot of effort and attention into keeping the dogs calm and relaxed too !Upon arriving back a short while later , the owner arrived at our vehicle with Chloey in his arms , quite relaxed and friendly with him and absolutely beautifully groomed ! This is our 2nd dog and in all the years only Mrs. Bev Ponder's parlour that was in Main Street and then the wonderful team of ladies from Shampooch Pet Parlour that was in Central and then Walmer , ever gave us service like this or close to this. A pleasant old African gentleman called Johnson was our Champy's groomer from Mrs. Ponder's and over then to Shampooch and the owner and staff at Dogwoods Grooming Parlour is most definitely right up there with the best - Thank You and we will be back and will support you with all the various extras you're adding to your shopfront too !Well Done & Keep Up the Great Work !!!

My Toby (Yorkie) went first time (8months old) and when picking him up he was a happy chappy. I was nervous as he does not like riding in the car and gets car sick and did not know how he would handle grooming... Went to pick him up tail wagging and all. Thank you.

My dog had been to 3 other groomers in his life and had never been as traumatized as he was when he came back from Dogwoods. The next time I wanted to bath him, he hid in his kennel and wouldn't come out, which he has never, ever done before. I'd hate to know what they did to him, but, needless to say, he will NEVER be returning to Dogwoods. Do not use this grooming parlour!!

Friendly and caring staff and not a long waiting time. We (me and my dog) is very please with the service and cut he receives each time. Thank you to all at Dogwoods for the service you offer.

I'm sorry to say but I have to agree with Rebecca. My Max has been depressed and sick since the last time I took him to Dogwood. He had a runny stomach was vomiting I had to take him to the Vet two months ago, Last week the same thing happened. It looks like he was hurt or something. Friendly nice people yes... but I'm not taking my baby there again.

This is really great parlour. I am from Cape Town and my scotty is used to his parlour there and since moving here we have nothing but great service from the Dogwoods Grooming parlour. My scotty is not scared or frazzled when we fetch him and he is beautifully cut.I recently took my 15 year old yorkie mix as well and that was her first parlour visit. She wasn't anxious or scared either after the beautiful cut they gave her.I recommended this parlour to a few people already and will continue to do so.Keep up the great work!

Took my dog in for a wash and nail trim and we received quick and friendly service. He came out looking like a happy chap (and smelling good too)!
