Checked in at Ikanyeng Vryburg on the 12th Sept and check out 16th Sept. We received a warm welcome on check in but from there theservice was very poor. We could not even get a 500ml water as we were told it's not included in the package, for breakfast we would find food made already and one couldn't even ask for anything extra, there was no basic things like tomato sauce. There were no fruits and yoghurt and cereal it was just cornflakes and wheat bix, should u want to eat muesli u would use milk and told there is no yoghurt. Our request was also including lunch pack and it was horrible we were told it's either starch + meat and a can of coldrink, mind you we were traveling to deep rural areas where we couldn't take pap, rice or pasta for lunch we then opted for sandwiches and snacks but we were still told we can get sandwich+ drink they don't offer snacks. Supper was also ridiculously horrible and today on Friday in our lunch pack we have piece of meat from Wednesday supper. I don't have words to describe my disappointment. 5 days away from home but the stay was like 2yrs. Room cleanliness was ok but there was loadshedding everyday and we had to stay in the dark everyday not even provided a candle. Tebogo told us everyday until we left that there is nothing he can do and they don't have backup. I've never seen such low class ever. Ikanyeng Vryburg branch should just be closed down!!!

It was my favorite place until 03/09/2022, I was in room 22. The rooms next to me was occupied by Nigerians. They started making noise at 3am playing music at the parking area, I tried calling reception but no one answered, I was with my 2 daughters, age 4 and 6, I literally didn't know what to do. I am fully disappointed becouse it was my first experiencing this since I started using this place. They must have atleast a number to report this type of incidents at night because the 018 no one answered

Recently stayed there, in room 14, for a couple of nights and we would definitely go back. The down side was that, there is no microwave in rooms, had to wait for the room to be cleaned, bathtub lid was leaking so had to shower alwaysThe reason I would recommend it-Rooms are cleanstaff is friendly and helpfullocation is great,3 channels on TV but you can log on to Netflixgenerator in the afternoon during loadsheddingquiet with private placeAffordable, R700 per night

I stayed at Ikanyeng for a very long time due to us organizing Mahika Mahikeng. The rooms were large but in poor condition. The beds were loud and the towels were not washed everyday. The fredge was in terrible condition and leaked constantly. The small kitchen taps are broken, the doors are hard to open and the keys get stuck in the door. The bathrooms only have 1 roll of toilet paper and two extremely over used towls. The management was another problem! Richard at the front desk talks with such disrespect and dishonesty. Tsedi the owner is extremely unprofessional, rude and insulting. She is vulgar and a very unpleasant person. She opens the gate for strangers and due to this we were robbed. When I confronted her she refused to close the gate because apparently we didn't pay her, which we have proof that we did. This was an horrible experience!

I was truly taken back by the rooms, cleanliness, design, deco and just everything. You lack nothing. The service is top notch. Staff friendly and willing. Food excellent and tasty. Truly top table and I highly recommend.

The room in which we were, 112, was disappointing. There was only one towel and no toilet paper. We had to call twice to get these. The bed was so worn out that whenever we turned it made terrible noise. The TV was at the ceiling level making it hard to watch. There were no bedside lamps. The shower was releasing water so slow and weak we ended washing in the basin. No rails to hold on to in the shower and no soap dish. Lastly, we had to pay 15% more when we paid with a card in this time and age. I wouldn’t go there ever again. The four star rating is exaggerated for this place
