AfriCamps Magoebaskloof

The tents on the hill should not be advertised with the tents next the river. It is two very different experiences. There is no privacy; you can see and hear the guests in the tents next door although it is 45m apart. There are no trees between the tents on the hill. We went for a mid-week breakaway and had to listen to weed eaters the first morning for about 3 hours.You cannot use the patio in the afternoon to enjoy the sunset as there is no shade.The staff is slow to respond to messages and did not answer the phone when we had questions when arrived. It is overpriced for a mediocre experience. We were very disappointed, the website is a misrepresentation of the venue (referring to the tents on the hill).Magoebaskloof is lovely and we will be back, but we will certainly not be staying at Africamps again.

Enjoyed our stay at AfriCamps Magoebaskloof. The location is perfect to say the least. The rooms are well equipped, with really comfortable beds. The hot tub and fire place are perfect for the whole family and really brought the whole place together for me. I just wish we didn’t have to pay extra for the wood and starting the wood fired hot tub.

The ‘tent’ had the best view! Everything was very neat and clean. Super comfy beds with AC in the rooms. Lovely hot-tub to chill in and for the kids to enjoy. Everything was perfect! Can’t wait to visit again.

We loved our stay at Africamps, the property is beautiful and offers a few walks in the enchanted Magoebaskloof forest. I recommend a 2 nights to really enjoy the peacefulness of the place.There's a restaurant on site and you can swim or go fishing in the lake. The tents are perfect for a family or a group of friends and the hot tub on each terrace is a big plus. Best time to visit is September when all the cherry trees are in full bloom.

Very nice Place !!! Very Quiet area..!! If you need Some days without any Kind of Noise its the place to be..!! They have wifi in the Main house where you also get a nice Cappuccino and other goods of need!!! The stuff is very friendly as well ..!! I will be Back someday!!!

Great place to wind down from the fast concrete jungle life. It's very quite and the only sound you hear is that of the animals and birds.The tents are neat, super spacious and cool. You get heated blankets and aircon incase it gets too cold. And yeah overall the place is great had a great experience with my partner. I especially loved their outside wooden bath tub.

We absolutely loved our stay and would highly recommend AfriCamps Magoebaskloof.Honestly, our host was wonderful, incredibly helpful and so insightful.The tents are lovely and surrounded by stunning views and wildlife, and star gazing at night was an absolute treat.There is also such a cute local community all around the mountain and it was so beautiful to experience the love and support they have for each other.We couldn’t get to all the cute recommended places but we’ll be back for sure.10/10 you guys!

The experience was great, relaxing, we loved the hiking trails and the Woodfield pools. The only downside was tents 7 to 10 are not great locations they are situated in front of the restaurant parking area and from 14h00 you cannot sit on the balcony it's just too hot with nor shade. If you are going to book as for tents 1 to 6.

First trip to Africamps and it was fantastic. Beautiful and serene! The hot tub was a fantastic win, together with the fireplace and electric blankets we thoroughly enjoyed this perfect bit of winter glamping!

Was a great experience. Jordan was absolutely incredible. We arrived and he was off duty but he did not hesitate to help at all . Absolutely incredible service from him he was quick so help if we had any questions or issues . Hot tub was really nice . The noise can get a problem from the other tents that are quite close by but jordan was quick to react if they were getting rowdy.
