Gateside Guest House

A beautiful bnb on a hill overlooking the valley. It is 2 min to the local shops and in the centre of the village. The grounds are beautiful and the setting idealic. We were in South room in the main house which was huge - sleeps 4 and had a massive freestanding bath and a shower. Off street parking and a small kitchenette in the room tip this place off as great value and a good place to stay.

My favourite place to stay in PMB... I think I've stayed there about ten times already! Feels like home and rooms are great!

This BnB was beautifully decorated in a gorgeous hillside home. The gardens and surrounding grounds were well maintained. The staff, Rudi and Marie, who we dealt with, were pleasant and particularly helpful at any time of day. The breakfast was delicious and we would certainly love to repeat our stay there in the future.

I looooved our room! The owners were very friendly and pleasant. Breakfast was yummy and very filling...quite the variety. Not too far from the shopping centre. Views were amazing. Great place!

From the moment we arrived at Gateside Guesthouse, we were welcomed with the utmost care and hospitality. The staff were incredibly accommodating, even with our large and lively group. We occupied several of the units, each one gorgeously decorated and outfitted with all the necessary amenities and more. The Frog Cottage, in particular, was a great spot for our group as it had a large veranda with a breathtaking view of the valley. Additionally, each unit had a braai and access to a stunning swimming pool which we thoroughly enjoyed. I highly recommend Gateside Guesthouse to anyone looking for a wonderful stay in the area. We will most certainly be back!

Room was spotless and so comfortable! Sally, the manageress, was amazing, very warm and friendly. She has so much energy and never stops running around making sure everything is perfect for every guest.

Thank you Gateside Guesthouse, from the first phone call after 1am, after being stuck in traffic outside Hilton for 7 hours, you woke up and treated us with such welcoming and caring hospitality.I had my baby and my mom with me, and was desperately looking for a guesthouse at that part of the night, you literally came out to the road to guide us in, made sure we have enough things for coffee and not forgetting to mention the room was spacious, clean, extra large comfortable bed and an adorable mini kitchen nook.Oh and we woke up to the most amazing view right outside our door in the morning (photo attached)Thank you for being available to patrons at any time, it is so very appreciated.
