The Cartist / Clive Botha

The Cartist does not always work with JDMs but when he does, it's incredible! He did my partner's R34 justice with great attention to detail and he loved his gift. I asked for a drawing of the car with Japanese architecture and cherry blossoms - Clive did his own research and came back to me with a great idea. The process was so easy regardless of me being all the way in Australia. Clive also kept me updated on the process and how long to go throughout, including showing me a draft sketch to approve before beginning the final piece. The drawing is exactly what I envisioned for this gift and I could not have possibly chosen anyone better to help me bring it to life. Now, I can't wait to get my dream JDM and have Clive draw it for me!

I saw The Cartist art work on FB in a corvette group page and was blown away! I contacted Clive and sent him photos of my car(82 Collectors Edition) and received my commissioned artwork in a few weeks. Clive provides 1st class communication and artwork. Clive keeps the lines of communication open before and after. Highly recommend, you will not be disappointed!!

I can't put into words how happy I am with the drawing I received from The Cartist. The professionalism and timing were on par and the drawing itself is just amazing! Not only is Clive a wizard at drawing exotic cars but has branched out into drawings of people , pet animals and virtually anything else ( which he does from photographs !) . I have attached a drawing of our grandson as an example of how accurate Clive is . He captures it perfectly. I am also going to attach the actual photo he used - note the amazing detail. I commissioned Clive to draw a photo of my friend’s Land Rover Defender for his birthday. Clive listened intently to what I envisioned and his creation far exceeded my expectations. The accuracy, detail, and sheer beauty of the drawing simply blew me (and the recipient) away. The entire experience was an absolute pleasure. Clive is a brilliant artist. He painted a picture of two I my cars to an extremely high standard (Mustang and Corvette). He is very organised and keeps you informed about every step of the commission artwork process. From the planning stage - sketching stage - final product and the shipment as well as a follow up to see if it arrived safely. I am extremely happy with the artwork he produced and highly recommend him. I would love to commission him for future artworks.
