Been there June 2022, loved it. Try getting there during the day if possible. It is a bit tricky navigating at night. Overall a decent place!

Beautiful wedding venue and lovely log cabins

Camped there early Dec 2022. Beautiful environment but unfortunately campsites are neglected, particularly electric infrastructure in a poor state. People complain about the access farm road, but is easily managed with high riding vehicle.

Such a nice and quite place. It very beautiful and full of nature.

Excellent service.friendly and very helpful manager (Diane).Rooms were cleaned daily during our stay.Peacefull , scenic views.Nature at it's best. Visited 25 to 28March 2023.

This place is on a farm with about 8km of dirt road to get there. Nearer to the place the sand can become quite packed so our car got stuck. However, we called the place and they were more than happy to help us. It's a remote place, a beautiful place to hang out. The cottages have remnants of farm cottages, urban but rustic. I love the ambience here, very peaceful and quiet. You can go for a bush walk, game drive or horse back riding. There are numerous dogs on the property who are always happy to hang out with you, which is entertaining and the horses just move freely. We really loved being to get away from the city in this place. You'll enjoy it here.

What should've been a dream holiday turned into an absolute nightmare.1. No electricity/warm water/ gas for more than 24 hours without any assistance or explanation.2. A very very dirty cabin.3. A receptionist that takes off in the middle of the festive season leaving guests stranded.4. We (and other guests) decided to go home 2 days earlier as our food was getting spoilt and there was no way of charging our phones- when we enquired about a refund for our last two days the receptionist said we can read the fine print about refunds and that she isn't responsible for the Cabins.She refused to give us the manager's number.We expected more from a 3-star establishment, money wasted and holiday to not remember.

Most of our weekend we sat without power which was abit of a problem as we had 2 little babies. I understand loadshedding but There was other reasons why the power also was off. When we asked if there is any way we can borrow a generators for for hours just to get the water warm and charge our phones and cook for our babies, the owner response was we shouldnt make eskom’s problem their problem. Wonderful, my husband drove all the way to Polokwane to fetch a generator. We paid in full before our stay so we couldnt leave. IT WAS OVERPRICED COMPARED TO WHAT WE RECEIVED! As we were given the wrong room as well…. They changed our booking accommodationhalf of the facilities was broken, broken tile which cut my foot, windows that cant close properly, stove that doesnt work properly, toilet seat that was broken, so much more. We were pushed into a cottage which I didnt even book for (I booked a log cabin) it was a horrible uncomfortable weekend. Will never go back. And wont refer anyone there as well

We booked this accommodation on very short notice but thankfully the hosts were very helpful and welcoming. The road to get there will be a bit tough if you don't have a 4x4 but it isn't impossible and most definitely worth it! We went with a group and the cabin is perfect for a getaway. Sufficient privacy while still providing a sense of togetherness. Value for money and stunning nature views.
