War Fork Jiu-Jitsu Academy

It has been great to begin my Jiu Jitsu at War Fork. There's much enthusiasm and explanation in each training session. Something new to learn each and everyday and leaves you with wanting more. Paul is extremely knowledgeable and passionate which quickly motivates you. I leave looking forward to the next session, always.

I would definitely recommend War Fork Jiu-jitsu for anyone, whether it be your first time trying out this martial art or even if you are looking to gain new skills from a different coach to improve your game. War Fork Jiu-jitsu gives you an in depth explanation of the techniques that are practiced as well as focusing on the special concepts that are often over looked while training. With this all put together it helps you to improve your game, learn new skills and to get a better understanding of Jiu-jitsu itself. Personally, training at the War Fork Jiu-jitsu Academy has assisted me with improving my skills and adding more pressure when I roll. I have learnt to angel my body in order to ensure that a submission will be successfully executed and with Coach Paul's patients, understanding and motivation I do believe that I have become more confident in my Jiu-jitsu abilities.

I trained at Paul's academy a few years ago on one of my first trips to Durban. I was really impressed not only by his level of jiu jitsu skill but also by how sincere and dedicated he is. It's not a huge dojo by any means, but the instruction you'll receive there is first rate, and more importantly, you'll also be training with someone who actually cares about you and your progress.

Paul is an amazing coach and teacher. We often meet up to train and share knowledge, Often problem solving hiccups in our training. It's a friendly and inviting place to train.
