Away with the Fairies Nature Lodge | Hogsback | Away with the Fairies Nature Lodge is situated right on a cliff with the “Famous Bath” perched precariously on the edge of it! We are perfectly located, while overlooking the incredible 3 Hogsback Mountains as well as the Auckland Nature Reserve, the oldest forest in South Africa!

Away with the Fairies - Nature Lodge
Very comfortable accommodation. Beautiful views from the observation deck. Excellent simple food. Great burger and great pizza. The cliff-top bath is a magical experience. The venue is also the start of a range of extraordinary forest paths leading to exquisite waterfalls. These routes are great for technical trail running or more leisurely walks. Super friendly staff.

Absolutely loved this place, so serene and beautiful.Beware very muddy and slippery in the rainy season Dec/Jan around the accomodation lodges and the restaurant.

We did not stay there, but he view is amazing. The food is out of this world. And the staff are awesome, and the barman even played our favorite vinyls.

We always have an awesome time at the Fairies. Noms' welcoming smile is always so appreciated, Stewart, Joey and V give the best food, drinks and service. The rooms and bathrooms are always clean, the atmosphere is very relaxed and the cliff bath is a win! Thank you all! We look forward to our next visit.

Nature at it's best, welcoming environment, view of animals passing at a distance, rooms fit in with the natural environment, services from friendly staff, kid friendly, safe parking, shops, restaurant and Curios, attractions make every visit an experience of a lifetime, access to and from the location easy to find especially with assistance from Google Maps

We loved this little heaven in nature. From guided hikes, to amazing vegan good and some quite time tucked away in the mountains. Everyone is so peaceful and friendly. Your soul relaxes and recharges here.
