The food was okay; I was expecting more flavor and variety. Hopefully with time it will find it's rhythm.Personally: Could do with less lighting in the evening (very bright) and a sound system help with the ambiance. The open plan kitchen and bar is lovely.

What a beautiful experience: fantastic menu and wine list, both exceptionally well-priced, beautiful environment, kind service, and delicious execution. Prins Albert needed this, and Jeremy and his team provides a wonderful food experience in this delightful town. We can’t wait to return.

We ordered 2 soups, a meat dish and a Mediterranean veg dish. The Miso soup was ordinary and the Indian Spiced soup tasted like water and a Maggi type powder and we didn’t eat it after first taste. Brisket was nothing special (we were told meat dishes were excellent) but the side veg good. Mediterranean veg with special spice was over cooked (tasted boiled then flash fried) with no spice at all. Also perhaps missing an opportunity not to create more of a vibe where the kitchen is so open to the customers, where the chef could at least look like he is having fun.

A lttle germ.Aus unserer Sicht die beste Entdeckung während unseres Urlaubs. Eins der besten Carpaccios des Urlaubs. Die Lammschulter mit Polenta ein Traum. Der Salat ein Hammer. Tolle entspannte Atmosphäre mit sehr freundlichem Service. Ein bisschen wie bei guten Freunden. Sehr faire Preise und gute Weine, die Lokalität hätte ich eher in Kapstadt als hier erwartet. Sehr stylisch. Gerne wieder. Die Kritik an fehlenden Aromen kann ich nicht nachvollziehen. Unser Essen war perfekt gewürzt.

Although fully booked for dinner, Jeremy welcomed us and served a meat platter which was fantastic. Even more impressive was the fact that all the meats are cured and prepared by Jeremy in Prince Albert. Wow!
