Checkers Food Services

The service I've received is the poorest quality I've ever received. I ordered food online for a family in need the kids have been hungry for days as I explain to this woman that its very urgent I requested for delivery yesterday already and when I phoned she said if not yesterday this morning then I called again and she said if not today tomorrow morning I asked her how do you tell someone thats been hungry that sorry go hungry for another day or two? She said to me Don't come with stories. I told you you can pick it up if you don't want to wait. if I was able to leave my house and take food to them I would do so but I can't thats why I took the delivery option, if you are working through a backlog then don't give people the option to choose a day and time.I will NEVER use their services again!And please employ people with manners she talked over me and didn't give me a chance to get a word in so much that I needed to raise my voice and I asked her to give me a chance to speak she said my tone is not acceptable AFTER she raised her voice at me!!!! THIS woman has obviously never looked a child in the eyes thats hungry. I'm very disappointed in this service, I have no words!

Greetings. The two stars are for the delivery staff who have always been first class. Very helpful good men.The missing stars are for the missing products that were available and WERE good value. All the bargains are GONE. And the site is GONE and replaced with Rubbish that is fiddly and freezes and one has to sign ip from scratch. I won't be returning. All my purchases were for over 2000 rand. By bye baby good bye.

My restaurant has been a loyal customer of Checkerfs for quiet a few years. Today we had a really bad experience; we placed and paid for our order and received confirmation that the order would be delivered. However, the order was NOT delivered! At 7pm we had to rush to our local Pick and Pay to get some urgent stock for the evening. Nobody had the decency or sense of professionalism to even let us know that we would not be receiving our order. We have found that other suppliers never do this (this is the second such experience with Checkersfs). It is clear that Checkersfs are growing far too quickly and it is obvious that they are struggling with logistics. Checkersfs was always an incredibly convenient one-stop shop but it seems as if it may be better to rather buy stock from numerous suppliers who, invariably, are cheaper than Checkersfs. Sometimes convenience costs more than it is worth.

Cool chain is not adhered to. Fridges left open in heat for almost ten minutes. Goods thrown onto pavement where dogs walk etc and they think it is OK to then deliver these into a commercial kitchen. And then don't take this serious.

The warehouse is strictly managed for a good flow of operations, orders are swiftly processed and carefully. The warehouse is tidy and you can definitely trust them with your online orders.
