Awesome Farm with petting zoo, pony rides, putt-putt.opened to public from April 2021. Well designed, reused and repurposed decorations. Kids had lot of fun in feeding bunnies, pigs, goats n horses. There's is birthday party venue too with beautiful outdoor deck sitting n shaded space. Only thing that you have to struggle a bit to find a place as it's not on the road, have to take gravel road for almost 3 km. But once you there,you gonna have so much fun. Farm owner Darryl is a wonderful host and tells you all about the rescued animals. There's a small coffee shop too. It will be very hot during daytime's as it's an open area, so do carry your hats &. Sunscreens. Not to mention, you will also enjoy the beautiful view of Table mountain.

The road there is bumpy but a regular car is able to negotiate it. I was really impressed with the facilities. There is plenty of parking. The gardens are beautiful. The staff are really welcoming and friendly. There are a couple of cheeky animals/birds (take the usual precautions when feeding them). The coffee shop is very basic. Take cash, you don't need much (but I didn't see any credit card facilities). We really enjoyed it. We're definitely going back soon!

In a world of expenses its awesome when you find a FREE GEM. Family fun! Clean, neat and family friendly. The farm animals are lovingly looked after. Always a good time at this farm.We can feed the animals, ride poneys, play put put, even celebrate a birthday there.It's such a nice place to go with your family. And it's open every day except Mondays.

Great place to visit especially with little kids. Lots for them to see and do without it being too far to walk and too big. Really beautifully set up and the team have worked hard planting colorful plants and making a rustic but beautiful venue! Card facilities which was useful too. The little pony ride (R20) was also the perfect duration for little people.

Very good spot to take kids who want to pet and feed animals.They have a host of charismatic animals who have been adopted or rescued by Darrell the manager and the Melkbossie family.They serve snacks, instant coffee water and cold drinks but not a good venue for lunch however one could pack your own picnic and enjoy the beautifully landscaped setting with your children surrounded by farmyard animals.This is a great day here to host a kids party with a dedicated party area. There are a lot of activities including pony rides putt-putt animals to pet and feed.My only criticism is that the road to the venue can become rough in winter with the rain. It is maintained by the local inhabitants have to use it daily so drive slowly and be considerate of their efforts.

First visit with my grandson, who goes often, since Covid. What an amazing surprise. Road is rough gravel but slow drive is fine.Has a separate area for birthday parties. Lots of seating areas, amazing jungle gym sand area and immaculate pens for all sorts of animals. Pony rides @ R20 - 11am, 1pm and 3pm. Has a small shop to purchase food to feed animals and to buy hot or cold drinks and small snacks. Please take cash to leave in donation boxes- there is no charge to visit. The animals will thank you! Well done.

A hidden little gem, amazing place to go with kids. Beautifully maintained animal farm where kids can feed and see loads of different farm animals. Worth a visit!

Melkbossie is a great place for children. There's a lovely big playground. There's plenty of space to run and play and explore (under adult supervision, of course). Loads of parking. Very reasonable venue hire. We had a fantastic time. Will definitely be going back.
