Sasol Wonderboom Suid

Poorly managed site. Went to buy coffee last night. The lady (Josephine) working at the bakery was too busy focusing on personal cellphone calls than assisting customers. When we asked for a serviette, she looked visibly irritated because we dared to bother her while she was busy with personal things. She left the area. For an added bonus, the Chaywa Coffee Machine was out of hot chocolate. We went to the cashier to ask for assitance who advised us to wait for Josephine to assist us. Josephine eventually proceeded back to the area when the cashier asked her to assist us with the hot chocolate. She turned right around, took her cellphone, ignored the cashier and went to stand outside to play with her cellphone. We just stood there with no one assisting us further and had to take something else. We asked the cashier to confirm her name, when he advised he does not know any of his colleagues names as he is new to working at the branch. As we left the shop, I politely went to the lady outside to ask her to confirm her name. She said her name is Josephine. I told her I was unhappy with the service and felt that we were treated very poorly at this site, to which she replied okay.

This morning I got to the bakery inside and stood at the Pie Count the Staff member looked up at me while she was playing on her phone and chose to ignore me and continue to play on her phone then again she looked up at me still waiting for her and came to assist me she can not even say Hello to a customer! Very Bad Customer service.

Best service received from Sasol in Steve Biko Road. Came to fill up my car, and received a FREE car was while filling up.Will definitely support this Sasol in the future.Thank you for GREAT service.

Personnel always friendly

Update: Since my last visit, the service has really improved. Lasarus is one of the new trainees. He was helpful, friendly and could see that he wants to assist. (Thank you for your awesome service) I am glad that I gave them another try. Hopefully in the future I will give a full 5 star.---------------------------------------------------------------------Update: (original post 6 months ago)Still a one star.. Actually needs a zero star, just like their service. I waited 5minutes and not one staff member in sight. Sasol Gezina is luckily always there, ready and willing to help.PLEASE BE AWAREI used to prefer this Sasol, seeing as it is convenient located and their service used to be good.Just a pitty that one of the guys is steeling money. I would've left this, but I spoke to my parents and the same thing happened to them, at the exact same Sasol, on a different occasion! Now I feel.. If it happened to me AND my parents, then it must happen to other people as well!!The guy that filled my car with fuel, added money to the total when I swiped my card. We are not sure if this was the same guy, but the amount was exactly the same stolen from my parents.Then the attendant said he has an eye problem, but he would've squinted or even stood closer to the petrol tank if that was the case. The guy that stole from my parents said that there is a Coke special when they made a scene about it, but the Coke did not even make up for the money he added.Just thought I must speak up. We are all working hard for our own money.

Great service

Nice. Accessible to both North and South bound. There is a Sasol delight shop. Plenty of pumps to deal with busy days. Each pump contains several types of fuel so you don't have to move to a different pump. Attached to a famous chicken fast food restaurant. Nice that there is plenty of parking, there is a nice little park to stretch legs. I visited with no time to spare but was refueled in 5 minutes. I was however not offered gestures of oil check, water, tyres, windscreen clean or advised of special offers

Fantastic Service from Glen, He's so energetic and friendly!

Cashier at the shop was so friendly. Wish I took his name. But he lightend up my day. Well done Sasol for appointing him. He is a good asset.
