Not even 2 years down the line and the sofas we bought from mattress people are looking terrible. The stitching has given up and the sofa looks bad. This an experience from day 1 of receiving the couch,which was taken back to get stitched brought back with a huge damage mark and sent back again to get fixed. R25,000cash spent in store for a bed and couch sales persons name is Bright. I called in sent pictures and my receipt. Its my problem now buying a couch were the useability of it is less than 2 years. Do yourself a favour rather put in the extra money and go to a place were u will be looked after as a client,were qualify is guaranteed. Now i have to spend money on new couches, will never ever support mattress people. Please come take back your couches. Its painful to see such bad quality in my home. SCAMMERS

Absolutely worst service after the purchase. It's like thank you for your money and enjoy out terrible service.In what world is the client meant to phone the driver back from a please call me??Not only that but the communication on delivery is absolutely shocking. I can't believe they still have the nerve to charge you for their delivery service.Never again will I purchase anything from here again and I highly advise caution to future customers.

Awesome customer service turned a potentially bad situation into a great one. I bought a mattress and bed with assistance from Russlin. However, when the mattress arrived it had some damage from the manufacturer.After getting in touch with Russlin he arranged for an upgraded mattress to be delivered as a replacement the next day at no extra charge. Marcalan was also super helpful arranging the delivery etc.Very happy!

Terrible customer service from this store. Bought a TV stand and coffee table from here and was promised a 5 year warranty which does not seem to exist. Don't be fooled by the initial charming salesmanship because the after sales service is atrocious. The coffee table was a different size from the agreed size and also damaged. Our salesperson, Bright has us calling him every few days and keeps making excuses about the repair. I wish I had read the many negative Hello Peter reviews before making these purchases. These guys sales plan seems to be to offer false guarantees and warrantys just to make the sale and then if something is wrong with the product delivered they just wait until you give up and tire you out by making more empty promises. Better off with a more reliable company. Ironic that their slogan is people you can trust.""

I’m convinced this business is a scam. I bought a slumberland bed in April 2019 for nearly R10000 and it’s so incredibly lumpy and hollow in places already. They’ve inspected but they disagree. At the time I also bought the base of a bed but in my house it just seemed to high off the floor. When I asked if they could come and collect it and I could get a refund (even if I was to be charged a delivery fee) they flatly refused and the rep Arnold was almost hostile in my opinion. Fake products, no warrantee that you can enforce, hostile customer service. The bed has now been moved into my house in a spare bedroom. Disgrace! Stay away!

Just the worst service I've ever encountered. We ordered a mattress on the 5th of Jan paid and upfront for it. We were told at the latest and to be safe it would be delivered in 4 days.No follow up call, after calling them on the Friday it was supposedly coming on Friday. Then the story on Monday was no it was coming from Cape Town it would be with us in a week.That was week two. Eventually after having to call them again, we get told the factory only opened on the 13th of Feb and were running behind on production.3 weeks later a mattress is delivered, with a different name to what we ordered! No explanation, they just expected us to take what was sent.Had to call them again to be told it's basically" the same mattress. Still dealing with the issue. Just absolutely pathetic service I cannot imagine how they stay in business. Don't give them your money or time. Just do not shop there."

I am absolutely delighted with the services rendered by The Mattress People FOURWAYS. The manager Marcalan and another gentleman assisted me with not only the correct choice of mattress ( as I'm writing this 3 months down the road ) but they were professional throughout the entire sales experience, no flattery!, no wasting of my time and genuinely interested in my needs plus they were spot on with the delivery date and even time frame. They went the extra mile in getting my mattress delivered THE VERY FRIDAY BEFORE LOCKDOWN BEGAN 27th March 2020! I AM DELIGHTED 3 MONTHS INTO LOCKDOWN (now June 2020) with my purchase which was absolutely the right choice for me. Thank you Marcalan and Team...Keep up the good work, taking care of peoples' needs. This way you will go from strength to strength.Well done !S Holloway

Amazing customer service and unbeatable prices. I had been dealing with a Sales Consultant by the name of Rusland (for lack of a better spelling) and he tried his hardest to give me the best deals and his knowledge of the various beds were second to none.I had been wanting to purchase a bed from him for about a year, and a year later he was able to offer me the same amazing deals, if not better. He through in free items and my item was delivered within a day and was contacted by the owner himself to confirm delivery.I will be purchasing more from this store!

Firstly I would not even rate them!The sales consultant Arnold who assisted me, had lied about the cost of the bed and saying he would waver the delivery costs. Which to me was okay, I then agreed to go for the deal. Upon delivery the invoice signed showed a complete different amount that the bed costed and also including a delivery fee that I was charged.I then sent an email addressing this. I then had Arnold call me, and screaming on the phone, who screams at a customer (so unprofessional)? Telling me he is upset with me and he never lied, and that I can take it further. he does not care.The fact that this company does not even have a website says a lot!This was the worst service, as all he wanted was the sale.
