Very disgusted in the attitude of the watchmaker / store owner Alan. I took a fossil decker chronograph watch in for a glass replacement and battery replacement. He began by removing the glass with a tweezer, then tries opening the back with a tweezer instead of using the correct tools. i left it there for 20 minutes, thought to myself he would take it to the back and use the correct tools. A few minutes after collecting the watch I returned to the store, showed him the picture taken the day before and the ugly scratch he made on the bezel by using a tweezer. He had the arrogance to tell me that that’s how its done, after which I told him that’s not how its done and that the crowns stem must be released from the mechanism and the glass can be pressed out with the press. Clearly the certificates on the wall are worthless pieces of paper. Would never recommend anyone to use him, would rather goto the watchmaker in Howard centre, Pinelands.
