Golden River Spur Steak Ranch
Extremely cold inside even on this cold day. Made the whole visit unpleasant.Aircon is on full blast cold and doors are open wide. I understand that it's their fire escape but turn up the aircon at least.

We're three wrinklies who meet on Wednesdays at various restaurants, each vying to find reasonably priced interesting ones.The Golden River Spur is another Spur, but with a good view of the sea and good staff.But the Senior's Menu is something else. There are 2-3 choices for each of three 'courses', a drink, a main and a sweet. The serving size is supposedly smaller but finishing all of them is a challenge for the even big eaters.There's a half-sized(!) steak or a burger or fish and chipsAnd the sweet is generous chocolate veined ice-cream heaven or a half waffle with ice-cream or creamWe keep coming back for this value for money, R110 feast.Dermot

Despite it being simply a good 'ol Family Spur, it has some added charm with the location overlooking beautiful Fish Hoek Beach (arguably the best vista from any building along the back road facing the beach). Spur meals are a familiar decorum but at in my experience, the service is reasonable and friendly here. Cool spot.

Good food. The service is non existent tho. Can’t complain about it as there is no service- what so ever. Only 4 tables and complete lack of service. They should purely do takeaways. This way they won’t chase away their patrons. Because okay food is the only thing they have going for them.

On this cold stormy day my friend and I came for breakfast. Agnes and Tapuwa served us. They passed with flying colors as they had outstanding interpersonal skills.

Mathew served us with so much care . It was my baby's birthday and I don't regret taking him there because he enjoyed. We've been to so many different places for chicken nuggets but yours were the best.

Food was great, service a bit slow, but his friendliness made up for it. Love the kiddies playroom with supervision.
