Netcare Pinehaven Hospital

Our baby daughter was in ICU, and I can honestly say the sisters and staff where so great!!!They gave my baby the best possible care and also to her mother. I was really pleased with the experience

If I could I would give it a big fat 0.. Hospital is amazing, some staff are amazing as well as some doctors but this review is for Dr Mukansi, I'm speechless. My father passed away, during his time there you did not respond to one of our phone calls regarding his health, not one message we left at your consulting rooms, not one WhatsApp messages absolutely nothing, the unexpectedly my dad passed away.. Then when he passed not even a call. Not even willing to assist in documentation. We all ways go the Pinehaven as it's our our closet hospital, but I'll never put my life or any of my loved ones life in in the hands of Dr Mukansi therefore I'll rather stay away. My mother is going through a rough time and now she must still sit with a doctor that shows no remorse. It's been 3 months and we still battling to get hold of him.

The hospital is not taken care of on wards, wards are dirty an walls paint is coming off. Personal sitcom is broken and has a whole. It’s not appealing as when you enter the hospital. The brown curtains inbetween patients are filthy dirty. What is happening to suck a new hospital?

A well maintained and well run hospital. Has a small pharmacy and pleasant coffee shop with a good menu. Variety of Doctors rooms on site.The Medical ward is well run and staff are friendly and helpful, and very caring. The cleaner (Lorrain) was an absolute treat as she came to clean my room daily. Always positive, smiling, and happy to help with little things. The porters were also very caring and helpful and seemed to go the extra mile to ensure your well-being.Easily accessible from N14, close to Cradelstone mall. Ample parking, secure too.They also have a little buggy that collects visitors from their vehicles in the parking area. What a lovely touch. All guest parking seems outdoors though, not ideal when it's raining.

Spent 2 nights in the pediatric ward with our new born baby. A traumatic experience which I’d not wish on anyone. Our baby was fine and really not that sick, but the treatment by the staff and the nurses was unbelievable. My wife who had just had a C-section was expected to sleep on a couch in the room with our baby who was put in ab incubator which wasn’t set up properly. We eventually got them to give her a kids bed which had a thin mattress. But in order to get a bed they took away the chair which we needed for breast feeding - apparently they aren’t allowed to give you a bed and a chair. My wife who was feeding the patient, our baby, wasn’t given any food. The staff were less than interested in helping with anything. I’ve had other bad experiences in this hospital but couldn’t believe the children’s ward was also suffering from the same problems of mismanagement, angry doctors and unhappy staff.

I can't find the words to thank Dr. Variava enough for the service and care you gave to my grandmother.In our and her hardest aments you provided a light amongst the dark. You were there for her until the end. I found it comforting to know that she was in such good hands and thank you for the daily voice note’s.To the ICU sister’s thank you. You are truly sent from above.

This is the worsed hospital! Filthy!!! Shower brackets that are loose and falling out of the wall. Toilet seats looks like they are 50 years old. Bathrooms are not clean and sometimes there is no soap to wash your hands. The wards are understaffed as it was said to me by the nursing manager Angie. You call the nurse for assistance and they come after pressing the bell 4 times. The night staff had no clue what meds my husband was on and they were also not aware of his condition.

We love them , both my children are growing up with this nurse . She's the kindest person . And they're affordable

I did not wait long at emergencies to be attended to and weas treated immediately while my son opened a file on my behalf. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly and tried to make me as comfortable as possible.The doctor was also awesome and quick.The hospital is very neat and clean.Even have a pharmacy and a nice coffee shop.Will recommend anytime.

Both my daughters were born there, excellent service received. Can't complain. My father was also admitted there, received best medical care possible Thank you Dr Variava. From Dr Daniel Ngwenya and family.
