Babette Bed and Breakfast

The location of the B&B is in a beautiful part of town, great for a stroll. The accommodation is comfortable and stylish. The owners are very warm welcoming hosts always willing to attend to our needs. The breakfast too were delicious. We were even treated to Dutch apple pie (and got sent the recipe) ;) Highly recommended staying here!

Great little B&B with a serene setting and good location close to restaurants. Our hosts were warm, friendly and helpful. No TV in room but there is a lounge area where you can get your TV fix.

Loved this little Gem. All rooms are individually decorated and breakfast was delightful. A great view on the mountains! The Dutch couple are fantastic hosts. I would gladly return on a next trip.

We had a fantastic stay here last weekend for a cycle race in Swellendam. Wim and Nicky's hospitality is great, where they will go the extra mile at every occasion. Wim drove most of the day as our support vehicle, making sure we had plenty of food and drinks along the way. He even took amazing photos of us! Where else would you get this service?The rooms were clean and tidy, comfortable beds and came with the essential Nespresso machine.The location is really good, being walking distance from many restaurant options. Wim and Nicky sent us restaurant recommendation options a few days before our arrival - very thoughtful and useful.I can highly recommend staying here if you are in the area.

My colleague and my experience at Babette during our stay was satisfactory. The friendly hosts, setting and quiet, well furnished and decorated rooms according to themes, lush garden, as well as the wi-fi, swimming pool, provided a basic level experience; however, given the price of accommodation, we both do recommend the following: 1. To provide each room with a TV; 2. To install a proper airconditioner in the rooms, since a fan is not adequate in the sweltering heat of Swellendam's summer. 3. Finally, surely when a guest's first commitment is at 08h00, the breakfast time should be adjusted to at least 07h15, since 07h30 was the earliest time we could be served breakfast. These are mainly suggestions to improve the overall guest experience.

Wonderful Bed and Breakfast! The hosts Nicky and Wim are so lovely and warmly. We had a wonderful stay and will come back one day.

Lots of attention to detail. Breakfast was fantastic each morning. Weather was great. Location was central. Hosts were welcoming and accommodating. Only wish the bed was softer.
