In February 2016 I ordered a compactum from Michael at decor woods. It was delivered to me in Jhb and was the poorest quality wood and work ever. Michael told me to send it back to Cape Town and he would sell it and reimburse me the money. It's December 2016 and I'm still waiting for my money. Decor woods is shocking quality ... I would never use them again or recommend anyone to use them. Michael, the owner is a thief. Obviously his business is not doing well and customers have realized how awful his work is and that's why he can't afford to pay back my money.

Professional and efficient, excellent service. The furniture item they made for us came out beautifully thanks to Michael's recommendations, which were spot on. They went the extra mile to make sure we were happy with our purchase.

Great service and assistance from Mike and his team. Coffee shop just opened and great to have healthy options available. Have a Coffee while browsing. Furniture made to order and repairs.

You'd expect refurbished old pieces in solid wood, but be aware that a lot of the furniture is made of fibreboard.The workmanship is very poor quality as well. Michael, the owner, can't even replicate a piece that he already made before. He made a chest of drawers for me and it barely resembles the original. It's also very badly made, the drawers are not the correct size so he had to add buffer to the rails, as a result they're wobbly and loud. And the paint is the worst quality.Michael is also extremely rude!
