Hillcrest Swimming pool
Great place for galas. The pool has touch sensers that make it easier to record time and placement. Good amount of sitting space with shade. Different stalls available with food like popcorn, doughnuts, Borewores rolls, chip N dip, slushies, drinks and other light snacks and food.

Great municipal pool. R18 for adults, R8 for kids and pensioners. Clean bathrooms. Safe parking

The placed has aged and some basic maintenance is lacking. Most likely not have the budget to do the upkeep of this place. Still a very practical pool and great for school swimming events. Parking space is a challenge when a lot of people are here. But it does what is required.

Incredible public swimming pool, open 7 days a week, most days from 5:30am to 7pm. Clean and well maintained but it could use a fresh coat of paint and a few new windows and clocks, the water is amazing though and it’s 50m long! Olympic size with a great depth, I love training there.

Well maintained pool. Massive. Water quality was really good with no chorine and chemical taste. Temperature was 25.2 on 18 December. The showers have hot water. Some of the drains in the shower cubicles are blocked. The tuck shop was closed so take own snacks. There is a lifeguard on duty.

Went on a Sunday. Was very quiet and relaxing. Pool is definitely in great condition, but everything outside the pool looks a bit neglected. Grass is long, pavilion has broken bits and the buildings looks old and worn down. Bathrooms are neat and taken care of.

Went to the pool for an NTS organised gala. The pool was clear but being spring many jacaranda flowers had got into the pool overnight. The pool staff cleaned these up throughout the day. The swimmers said the water temperature was fine, not chilly.The facilities were reasonably clean and handled the large crowd reasonably well, if a little weirdly laid out.There is a tuck shop serving typical fair. As this was a gala event food stalls had been setup serving fast food and coffee.An enjoyable time was had by all.

Quite nice.Clean.Staff is friendly.All municipal swimmingpools should be treated equally.This is not the case and it is not fair to the community of poorer area's

Such a tragedy that such a prominent swimming pool is not looked after. So many swimmers use it on a daily basis. But the bathrooms are HORRIBLE and the water quality most of the times quite doubtful!!
