April 2023Forget the pools part. Everything is fenced off and inaccessible.R36 p.p entry fee for a picnic spot only.Rather go see forest falls or mac mac falls or berlin falls or Lisbon falls. They are all cheaper

Bring your swimming suit! The pools are great to enter and have a good time! Also bring some food for a picnic as it's a lovely place to sit down and relax. Perfect 5/7!

More expensive entrance fee compared to other attractions nearby but it does have better facilities (picnic benches & toilets). We had the place to ourselves when we visited, lovely tiered pools which you can walk between. It says no swimming, but I'm sure you can!

Visited in December 2022.Lovely park with hiking trails. When you walk to the pools there are tables and chairs for picnics. The water is beautifully clean, you can see the bottom of the pools. The water is not cold and is ideal for swimming. When we were there swimming was allowed, but at own risk.No loud music or alcohol are allowed which is an added bonus.Parking: Security guards in access controlled areaEntrance fee: R36 p/personSafety: GoodWeather: Perfect view in raining conditions

We did the secretary bird day hike and dipped our toes in at the small pools... Overall the facilities are nice and well kept. There's not a whole bunch to do and think it will be a very different experience if it's busy. We went out of season so it was quiet, we had the place to ourselves. A nice hike and outing for R36 pp.

Terribly sad. The place is fenced off and you have to look through the fence. There are also bottles and cans in the river.Entrance fees are higher than most at R36 as opposed to R16 - R25 at other nearby sites.Not worth the money.

Great place. Dogs had a ball, never thought they would like water this much. Definitely worth the R30pp entry fee. They have a few natural pools and a picnic area that has some tables as well. Take some time to just relax and unwind while spending time with friend, family and pets.

Awful fence, R36 to just have a picnic and bridge broken. So sad and such a waste.
