Ferdinando's Pizza
Tonight's restaurant that I ventured out to was Ferdinando's pizza. A little local pizza joint situated in Obs. I enjoyed their Regina pizza while my friend enjoyed the Kilamonster pizza. Service was friendly and the pizzas were good as they were made using a wood fired oven. The time for food to arrive was about 20 minutes. The hot drinks offered were a little disappointing as there were so few on offer, you cannot even get a Latte as an example, weird as it is winter now. Two nice touches were the bread sticks offered at the beginning of the meal and the candy coated fennel seeds at the end of the meal. All besides the lackluster hot drinks offering it was a good experience for Pizza lovers.

Had high hopes for this one based on reviews. Service was okay, it took me a while to find somebody that worked there and get seated. The general vibe was a bit of a party atmosphere. Decor is very cheerful, colorful and a bit all over the place. The pizza itself was sadly average. The middle was soggy, with way too much tomato, and not enough cheese. The crust could have done with just that extra bit of crispyness. The mushrooms needed just a touch more seasoning.

Awesome little restaurant with quite a large menu. Pizzas were really good and the cocktails potent. Ambience was fun and definitely caters to student population in the area.

A classic margarita is a true test and this establishment hits all the perfect notes. Perfectly flavoured tomato, crisp Napoli styled pizza base well seasoned and so enjoyable.

Ferdinando's has a funky, quirky menu and interior decor with decent pizzas and passable service, but unfortunately some pizza ingredients were unavailable and the menu is tough to read due to multiple (10+) pages and small, non-standard fonts.

Everything of the best! A warm welcome, a delicious (fast service) pizza that checked all the boxes and a unique experience. What a quaint place. Cannot wait to be back. Those wondering if they should choose Massimos or Ferdinandos, choose Ferdinandos. You won't regret the experience. Massimos was cold and unwelcoming. However, Ferdinandos will not disappoint!

I've had pizza all over the world and this some of the best you will ever find. The pizza is thin and chewy, the toppings fresh and flavourful, and the tomato base is sweet and light. I've got very sensitive heartburn and this pizza didn't aggravate me at all. Pro tip: pair whatever pizza you have with a Sri Sri cocktail (salty style) to instantly quell the summer heat.On a human note: The owner Diego and his crew clearly run a ship that floats on love ♥️ The decor, atmosphere, music, and conversation had me forgetting that they were people I just met and not old time friends.Cannot recommend Ferdinando's enough ♥️

Ferdinando's Pizza
A quirky little place with super tasty pizza and amazing service! If this is the second best pizzeria in South Africa, I can only imagine what the first is like. For drinks, I tried the Sri Sri sour which was one of the best cocktails I've had and it didn't have any alcohol in it. Please do yourself a favour and give them a try.
