My educational background includes a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from the University of the Free State. I am pursuing specialised knowledge in Information & Communication Law (Cyberlaw and Access to Information & Privacy Law) as part of an LLM program at the esteemed University of the Witwatersrand. I have also completed several short courses in Bioethics Law, Medical Law, and Civil Mediation to hone my skills and expertise.
I possess a wealth of experience and expertise in healthcare, business and operations management. Throughout my career, I have gained invaluable knowledge working extensively within the healthcare sector, culminating in my most recent role as the Chief Operations Officer for MSOI - a Discovery Health Company. My experience covers both managed healthcare and international health insurance. I have had the privilege of working on a global scale, having worked in the USA, Oman, and the UK, and I also have extensive Africa insights.
I possess proficiency in various legal fields, namely General Civil Litigation, Constitutional Rights, Medical, Health & Bioethics Law, Medical Malpractice, Cyber and Information Law, Labour law, and Alternate Dispute Resolution (mediation & arbitration). My experience encompasses an array of legal skills ranging from consulting, advising, writing legal opinions, drafting and preparation for court appearances. With my unwavering dedication and fervour for law, I am confident in providing exceptional legal services.
