Musgrave Centre

Try the Easy Chair coffee shop. Musgrave, while much better still than most in Durban, continues a generally downward spiral from the grand lady it once was to be just another ordinary shopping centre, a few stores are noteworthy and paddle tennis at the top is a great initiative.

It is a very beautiful mall with a lot of things worth sight seeing and purchasing

The centre is compact, while the selection of shops is diverse. I prefer this place to the carbon-copy larger shopping malls. My comments below pertain to parking. The parking looks cramped quite limited at first impression but there are plenty of bays tucked away in many different places.There are some areas of the lower parking level and ramp that are not as clean as they should be. Perhaps parking should just be a token amount instead of the old model of parking by the hour.Regular patrons of the shopping centre should not be footing the bill to keep park-and-ride motorists out of the parking area. It is also an add-on cost that is irritating especially when the ticket machines are out of order. The machines seem to require specific denominations of cash. (I stand to be corrected) Who carries cash in these times?

The new parking system is a nightmare! Sometimes you either have to wait a good few minutes to enter or leave because of scanning issues. The attendants are quite slow in resolving this issue. This has happened about 4 times to me now. Really becoming an inconvenience to shop there.

Parking areas neat but no visible security. The centre itself was clean and tidy. Good variety of shops. Overall a good shopping experience.

Really impressed with the security.I mistakenly left very expensive books (that were purchased from the store)in a trolley as I paid for my parking ticket.Upon discovering this the following day I called the centre and those books were safe at security.Thank you to all responsible

The Centre has deteriorated over the past few years.Escalators and lifts always broken or faulty. New parking machines are a nightmare with no one around to advise. Pensioners struggling. Staff in all the shops are so noisy and the parking areas are always wet. No longer the favored destination

It's a nice centre. Didn't find the food court and the lifts are small and take very long to return up or down. They should build bigger lifts to accommodate more people at one time. Overall it's a pleasant mall.

security refused us entry when i came through with my son and his guide dog..... after eventually getting in, we were harassed again in the mall.Please get you security company to properly train staff to of access for people with disabilities a service animal is not a pet and is allowed entry to public spaces!
