Very dissapointingTeeny tiny portions.Strange service.Atmosphere weird.Everything overpriced except for the books.Owner too busy and disinterested to chat.Had such potential to be a local hangout and to support local crafts. Instead is a tourist trap type place.Might be an attraction for those who like weird" .Oh.And I never got any pancake of any sort even though it was pouring with rain

Just bought pancakes, the worst I have ever tasted! At R 10,00 each you expect a delicious sugar and cinnamon pancake, but you get everything but that. Under cooked and the amount of sugar and cinnamon on them can just as well be left out. Terribly disappointed. The only reason you are getting 2 stars is due to the delicious meringue.

Had an amazing evening that Loret organises frequently at her shop to get people together. The atmosfere was great, but the food she served was even better. And I met so many nice new people. She offers frequent cooking classes as well. Well worth a visit

Had the most wonderful experience in an Asian themed cooking class with Loret. What a beautiful gem of a place in Umhlali! Food was absolutely delicious and the entertainment of Loret even better. Would recommend to anyone wanting an evening of laughs and great food

The most homely friendly place to pop in have a good meal coffee tea you name.Loret made us a birthday cake for our family birthday it was amazing. Loret can bake cook do functions, it's a place to go visit a must

Very friendly restaurant, Loret hosting baking and cooking classes through out the year. Designer cuisine, and comfortable seating awaits you as you relax with a cuppacino. Many speciality dishes for sale as take way for home preparation, or just enjoy a meal from the menus.

What a lovely discovery! Relaxed vibe. Loret is truly passionate about life and food. Her kitchen also does catering and she does cooking courses for big and small, staff and all. You can host a small party here or a kitchen tea. So cool. My kinda place. Will definitely make this a regular spot ❤️
