Verheugd Guest House

This is hands down one of the best Guest Houses I have ever stayed in.This Guest House gave me the feeling and luxury expected of a Michelin / 5 Star Hotel.The setting is Beautiful the Rooms are amazing and the service received from very Friendly and Polite people was just on the next level.Talking about the room, and me being a Plus size man, the shower is a walk in shower which made it very easy to get into, the bed sleeps very comfortably, and they provide Free Wifi. The entertainment ( TV ) has Netflix and Youtube, so entertainment is sorted.The room has a High Quality Fan and a Heating panel, so seasons are sorted.The Setting is just amazing, the guest house is on the edge of town, which has access to all the tiwn has to offer, but also creates the feeling of being in nature.For breakfast they have All Bran, Muesli, Yoghurt and Fruit Salad available on the side, with the Main Breakfast, which is Eggs, Bacon, Sausages, Toast and a Breakfast Salad.Shoutout to Yvonne for being an awesome host!All in All a 10 Star stay!

Had very disappointing experience with management. Management was very rude and condescending to our employees and refused to check in one of our employees after 18h00. Website confirms that check in is up and till 19h00. Poor service left one of our employees without accommodation at 18h:30.

We had a wonderful stay at Verheugd! The hosts are hands-on and we felt welcome from the moment we arrived. The rooms are beautifully furnished and the gardens are gorgeous with a lovely view over the town. We were treated to a delicious breakfast before we headed home again. Would definitely recommend this jewel of a guesthouse.

Friendly service, Good value for money, high standard guesthouse with the warmth of Freestate hospitality. A place full of peace with a lovely view over the town. Yvonne is a lovely host. I would highly recommend this place. I will be back.

Great place with a stunning view. Top class hospitality and a great chef. On our third night of returning to the comfortable beds they've got we got served supper aswell and to be honest Gordon Ramsay couldn't pull off what the owner did. I would suggest this to any person who wants a place to stay over.

I really enjoyed my stay at Verheugd it was like being home from home. The hosts made sure I was comfortable at all times. The food was excellent! I met some interesting guests and would definitely recommend anyone looking for place to stay over to try Verheugd Guesthouse!
