I am so irritated the way Checkers Ballito Deli staff is well it just one, the chubby dark skin, she's always having an attitude when I went there, I normally but the bread that is baked in Checkers, the day before yesterday I went he held the bread with her hand without a glove because I asked her to cut it for me nicely, today I went I asked for it again she rudely said ASIKHO(we don't have)" and continued doing whatever she was doing not listening if I wanted something because I wanted to get something to eat I was like "I still want to get something" and she was like "ngiyakuzwa khuluma(talk I can hear you)". What kind of customer service is that Mxm..."

I generally don't go into liquor stores (non drinker) but had 2 get a gift. Anyway shop seems very well stocked. I couldn't believe the prices of some items - heading north of 5k - apparently some of their best sellers.Unfortunately seems the cashier was not the friendliest, even to the point of almost rudeness. What a pity

I had the privilege of going there by myself on Christmas eve to do some shopping. I am very amazed by the employees and their ability to handle a lot of crowd and the demand of reloading shelves. I found everything except for 3 items which was very good. Those items were seasonal items and no fault of management. I will surely try and make it my new shopping destination. Keep up the good work

The shop is small, you can barely move without touching anything and they were super slow

Careful of the so-called butchers at the meat counter. They don't change date labels of the steaks at the dry aging fridge and are happy to lie about the number of days the steaks are dry aging. So they sell you fresh to a few days' aged meat that is dated at 60 days aged. 25th of September was the date on the label but the meat had actually been aging for just a few days.They are sadly clueless too. Puzzling why Shoprite doesn't ensure a better standard of training across their employees. Rather go to the butcher next door. A little better.

Nice clean and well stocked shop

I really like that they changed the position of the counters. The store is now much more open and doesn't look and feel cluttered anymore. Prices are also great. Thank you Chekers
