Thorp Haval Table View | Haval in Cape Town

Bought my Haval H2 in December 2020, was told if I traded in my car I would get free cover to the value of R84 000. The drivers seat of my car has a crack in the leather. After many frustrated calls Thorp Haval Table View and a emails I was told that the free cover was only valid for 2 years. When purchasing my car I was not informed of the 2 year validity of the interior cover, all they wanted was to make a sale and for me to trade in my VW Tiguan. I just spoke to the manager and was told there is nothing they can do, they won't even fix the tear in my seat. This is the worst service I have ever received from a car dealership and I have bought over 6 cars.The after sales services is terrible(putting it mildly), I would not recommend this dealership to anyone

The service w received was above excellent. Henco was very patient and helpful and managed to help us obtain insurance for our new vehicle as well. We will definitely recommend everyone to visit their branch. The service was fast an efficient and we drive away in our brand new car within 3 days. Thank you Tableview Thorp Haval.

The customer is not king at Thorp or Haval. These guys don't care about after sales service. As soon as they have your money, they are not willing or able to assist with problems. I bought a brand new H6 AWD in April 2023, it has a faulty seat sensor after multiple phone calls, WhatsApp's and Emails; they just don't get back to you. Two months later and still not fixed. I am incredibly disappointed. I see your response but that is the issue, I have been contacting you for 2 months.

We found the staff all pleasent and helpfull. Moray, who we delt with, was extremly knowledgeable and never appeared to rush us in our discussions. Moray he listened to our requirements and provided relevant answers. He gave us sound advice regarding all aspects of the purchase and options such as Service vs Maintenance plans. At all times nothing was to much trouble. The handover was smoth and again time was of no importance in showing us how everything worked before we left with our vehicle. We will and have recommend Moray to anyone we know is thinking of a vehicle.

Purchased my P Series a year ago and loving it, but had an item come up that had to be replaced under warranty. A good test of the Thorp 7 year warranty commitment. I was initially frustrated as the parts supply issues. The service Manager Sue-Anne however persisted and made sure it was eventually available. My vehicle was collected from work and returned the same day with the warranty issue fully resolved. Faith restored. I would without a doubt recommend Thorp for your Haval/GWM purchase.Next stop for me is the Haval H6 GT…if only there was stock.

This branch is shocking. I have had countless issues over the years and the latest being today. My wife and I have tried calling them only to wait with nobody picking up or for repeated calls to be dropped. And the one time I did get through the person was so disinterested in helping and wanted to just transfer me. I explained that calls keep dropping and asked that they get the answer and call back. He reluctantly took my details and said he would pass on to the department to call me back. 3 hours later, nothing has happened.

Worst experience ever. Our car is still there since July 2022. Parts failure on gearbox under warranty. Told them from day one the car is our livelyhood. My husband used it for Uber. Then they go and order the wrong parts. Sent new order and correct parts arrived early December and here we are. Still nothing done. Still waiting for a positive response from even head office. I will never recommend them. They dont care. Thankfully we kept every correspondence and insisted on emails after every call confirming what was discussed telephonically.

We bought a Haval H6 Hybrid more than a month ago. We included the fitment of a towbar in the purchase. At the time of the purchase we were not informed that Haval dealers are not even close to ready to service the Hybrids or to fit a towbar. After many discussions and promises from Thorpe Haval we were informed Haval would do an audit on dealers by 30 November. The service manager - Sue-Ann - promised to call us after 30 November to book fitment as were are due to leave on Holiday mid-December - to date no response yet despite follow emails. This is atrocious.

All good, affordable, could possibly improve on booking in. I was told open at 7;00am, when I arrived at 7;30 car were backed up outside,. Doors only opened 7:30, not 7 as told
