Great place to stay. Great area for birding and the lodge has an incredible setting!

The level of service is beyond my expectation thanks to Vuyo. The decor and the landscape is a marvel to witness. We even had a problem with the TV and were upgraded to the honeymoon suite and I am only going to book the honeymoon suite on my next visit.

While location and view are a must ... the rooms are simply correct.As a tour operator, we had booked 2 clients of ours at Bramasole ... selecting one of the better rooms, paying for dinner in advance, even informing the guest house of their dietary requirements ... and ... guess what ... Bramasole WAS NOT EXPECTING the guests!!! Fortunately, the guest arrived just before the Chef left ... if they had arrived 20 minutes later they would have found a closed door and a guest house in the dark!!!Booking made in May 2022 ...Begging for receiving an invoice which was prepaid in October 2022 ...Booking and prepaying dinner while also informing about the dietary requirements still in October ...All the above confirmed in writing by email exchanges ...And none was ready!!!The guests were installed in a room that was ready but not the one pre-booked. The Chef did manage to find enough to prepare pasta with Bolognese sauce ... but miles away from what was paid for!!!At any decent hospitality property, such a mistake - as mistakes do happen - are often emotionally healed with offering a bottle of wine or any kind of gesture ... but guess what ... the owner trusts the staff so much ... that all the nice goodies were locked away and the owner (or manager) gone with the key!!!And the WORST of ALL: the owner did not even bother answering my email requesting an explanation.While we can't recommend to stay at such an unprofessional guest house, I still want to thank the Chef for at least bringing some food to the guests which they had to eat in their room. Fortunately, the guests had purchased some wine on their journey and applied the Bring Your Own" principle!!!Think twice before booking this place."

Awesome location with great scenery. The facilities are tidy, clean and has their own themes. Love the peace and quiet of the outdoors and that's exactly what you get here. Hiking trails and nearby farmstalls make for exciting trips. The breakfast that's included is fantastic and I love the fact that you have the option of having it at your room. Will definitely recommend to anyone

Wow, where do I even start?! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly received by Vuyo. The 2 nights we spent there were nothing short of tranquil. The breakfast was scrumptious and the ambiance of the Guesthouse is absolutely awesome. Friendly staff and comfortable beds. Love the fact that the rooms are individually themed and the place is well maintained

Bramasole is an absolute must! The tranquility and luxury is a perfect setting for an escape from the city. We planned for 2 nights and ended up staying 3 nights as it is simply worth it.With the silence in the valley and the mist clouds rolling in over the forest, we enjoyed hiking in the mornings and relaxing on the patio while starting a fire for our evening braai.The staff is all around fantastic. We were received with a warm welcome and they made sure everything was to our liking.The attention to detail inside the rooms is exquisite. Stylishly themed rooms with artwork and finishes all play together for a visual escape.We loved our stay. We will definitely return.

Just exceptional. From when we arrived the service was great. First time in Magoebaskloof and it is so dreamy especially as it was in the summer, it was luch and green. Bed was very comfortable and we were upgraded to one of the nicest rooms by Vuyo. Will definitely recommend to all!
