Honeyguide Mantobeni Camp

Great food! Great tents! View from bedroom is going right into the wilderness. We once were being waken up by monkeys jumping around outside in the morning.:)The safari was outstanding. Dan and Philipp spotted all the animals we wished for and ended up with even more!The accommodation is very clean, the staff if friendly and helpful. Really an amazing and 100% great experience.

I've been going to Honeyguide (Mantobeni) since 2007 and planning another trip with family & friends next December. Fanuel has been my Tracker or Ranger and there is no one better! The camp is safe and clean; the staff are knowledgeable professionals; the food is excellent; the accommodations are splendid. The animals are incredible and the people at the camp and in Cape Town are the most friendly I've met anywhere.

We did 4 different Safari venues and this was by far the best. Nothing was too hard for Nathan to fix, he is the perfect customer service person. We had Lyton as our tracker and he is outstanding. He goes that extra mile and knows where to find the wildlife. We were not disappointed seeing all we came to see even a kill. The staff were super friendly, they had menu's with choice, provided you with ponchos for the rain or cold and even mosquito spray. he elephants came and drank from the swimming pool. Although the tents were not air conditioned the fans were suffice. The elephants came and drank from the swimming pool. This would be my pick when I go back and recommendation to anyone planning a visit.

The immersion into nature and the camp itself are amazing - also the wildlife you get to see on the game drives! We couldn’t believe our eyes when an elephant came to drink at the pool.The only minus I can give Honeyguide Mantobeni is that our guide did not give as much information as we would have liked - he was an amazing driver though and I am sure that had he not been that skilled, we wouldn’t have seen this amount of animals.

Absolutely amazing. Dan was a fantastic guide. The camp and staff are excellent. Game viewing was out of this world. Highly recommended if you are looking for a quality safari destination in the Greater Kruger area.

On Safari. We saw all the big 5 and so much more. Our ranger Dan was entertaining and informative.The food was excellent. We were looked after by Precious. Such lovely attentive staff.An elephant visited us at the swimmingpool.

Incredible experience! Amazing game drives, great food and fun tent accommodations. Anton and Philipe showed us the big 5 and made a great cocktail during the sunset stops. Food was great and served in a fun communal setting. The tent rooms combined the fun of sleeping outdoors in the cool nights with a nice bathroom complete with big soaking tub and dual outdoor showers.

Lovely place! All the wilderness around, cute elephants coming to the camp. Food was amazingly good.

This. Was. The. Best. Experience. Of. My. Life. (and I have had a lot of incredible experiences)I was not prepared for how great of an experience this turned out to be. The staff was PHENOMENAL. Our guide Brilliant showed us things that I never imagined seeing on a safari. There are times when you go on a safari but it feels like the guide doesn't want to be there but that is not the case with Brilliant. He loves being out there and that passion is contagious. I will be going back to this camp specifically because of my experience with Brilliant. He is an incredible guide and human being.
