Brights Hardware - Brackengate

Visited brights for the first time, having offered to refund something for my sister and was pleasantly surprised! The staff was super friendly, from the moment I stepped into the store. The atmosphere was lovely, refund process easy.Honestly impressed.

Great new location that does offer more, But not your best priced mega retailer, They should be able to offer better pricing. They have some bargain items, But they're not really bargains.Great store with a good selections of items from contractor to DIY

Well organized and fully stocked shop. Nice shopping experiance with ample parking. Staff is knowledgeable in the area and very helpful. Used to be one of the most affordable hardware stores. Popped in there during the week and it seems prices have shot through the roof!

Trying get a gas refill is…. So strange in this branch.You must go all the way to the back of the store, to irrigation, there does not seem to be communication from the front of the store.Irrigation is not able to call anyone to confirm stock as it shows on the computer system, someone has to go to look for themselves.I appreciate the lady that went the extra mile while the guy stared at the screen, confused and unable to tell me what I need to do next.I take the paper to the till point to pay and am told to pop next door to collect. But, the gate is closed next door, and nobody is there.It turns out, you must drive out of the parking area, way down the road to a ‘drive through’… but no one seems to know how to help you find the gas. Then, someone points to the far side of the lot.Drive there and wait… they manage to find the keys and exchange the gas cylinder. 15min… This process desperately needs a system!In Plattekloof, you simply go to the cashier, right in the front of the store, hand in the old cylinder, pay, and they bring the replacement, they even offer to take it to your car. 2-3min

Ever since the advent of loadshedding we gave become well acquainted with this place. The staff is always friendly and helpful, especially outside in the yard pick up area. Their garden pebbles and other building materials are also reasonably priced.
