The hospital seemed both professional and with good technology, and the service was very quick, kind and willing to assist. Our procedure was pretty simple since we stepped on a sea urchin but they treated us well

Ive been here twice... first time I walked out of the ER after an hour and no doctor looked at me... they charged me R600 and still haven't gotten the money back...Now im back here with my wife... had to pay R1000 (few weeks later)... and have been sitting here for more than 1h30 in the ER and still waiting.... ... don't mind to pay for a service... if that service is delivered... really BAD!!! Won't come back... here...

I go in for a uti. They give me pain medication that burdened my colon, I asked for a sonar, they did a CT scan instead, no relief I go back a second time, same treatment. Just to find out today if they did a sonar they would have seen its nerve damage that is causing my pain, that I needed a catheter instead of more pain killers, now I have a runny tummy and can't keep my food down. And the money is rolling. Medical malpractice is coming

Just had the most shocking experience in my 52 years of dealing with hospitals. My daughter went to the hospital on Saturday. She paid R1500 for ER services and was admitted, operation to be scheduled next morning. Next morning we were advised by hospital that we must pay R8500 upfront since they didn't have a proper authorization number, not even for the overnight stay. We spoke to Sister Pravena about this and requested proper authorization before the operation, she was then discharged shortly thereafter, being told to return once SHE has an authorization number, since med aid is closed on a Sunday ! Also something that was so urgent it needs surgery on the Sunday can now wait until Monday when we have authorization number !Now just heard auth number obtained and operation will proceed ! Shocking that you have to push to get medical care, even if you have a medical aid !!!!

I'd firstly like to thank Dr Leon Naidoo and his staff for excellent efficient service. I'd also like to thank staff from reception to Sisters and staff in Medical Ward 1, 1st floor for been efficient, attentive, friendly whilst under a lot of pressure. Keep up the good work. Thank you.

I'm really impressed with Netcare Alberlito. All the staff were so friendly and helpful. We were assisted immediately (granted they weren't very busy on our arrival). The facilities were also impeccably clean.

This hospital is extremely neat and clean. They have super friendly and helpful staff. Many specialists on board to assist and the nurses are the best. Cafe also recently opened. Pharmacy available on the ground floor. Parking assistant and security are very helpful.

I recently frequented Alberlito Hospital for a day procedure and what a shocker. I came out of theatre and with any procedure when you come around you kind of want some peace. Well a patient was conducting his business affairs from the time that I arrived there until I left. surely there should be some rules in place. Then after the aesthetics started wearing off the pain kicked in and I asked for some relief. After 45min nothing had happened and when I asked again I was told that someone had instructed someone who forgot. I went in for a knee Arthroscopy and something else. Then about 4 hours after coming out of surgery the Physiotherapist decide that she was going to show me how to use crutches. I explained to her that I had had my right knee done last year so I was comfortable with the crutches. She was determined so I got out of bed and as I stood on my left leg blood started literally pouring through my bandages. I dont think that she was aware that there had been another small procedure done. Then came home time which after all I was very keen to leave the hospital. My wife asked for a wheel chair and was told it will come. Well half an hour later no wheel chair so my wife had to go downstairs to get one herself and wheel me out of hospital. Then considering that I did not have breakfast when lunch time came I was given a chicken mayo sandwich nothing wrong with it but wow amazed that someone thought that it would be sufficient. I then assumed that there must be two different rates one for someone who has breakfast, lunch and supper then for someone who only has a sandwich because they are a day visitor. Then lastly when you press your buzzer does it not only take time for someone to get to you but you can read in their body language that they are not really there to serve you with passion. I am a 1960 model and I must say gone are the days when nurses did their work with a passion. It is not the easiest career working with people especially when they are in pain but you get the impression that it now only a job" and gone are the "Florence Nightingale" days."
